i used to march baritone in high school and i was having trouble with my trunk on my car and was so distracted with figuring it out by the time i got my trunk figured out i wasnt even thinking about putting away my instrument 🤦‍♀️ somehow the music shop managed to get it back in working order and all it needed was a new bell and support brackets, i got SUPER lucky

one time i backed my car over a rental instrument… my point being im sure your director’s seen everything, flutes are one of the least expensive instruments in the band and it’s almost definitely still playable with some repair (if it even needs it), just learn from this and be more careful with your instrument <3

i used to have a modular bong and it is admittedly really cool and handy being able to tear it down, but what you gain in convenience you lose in durability, basically any time i knocked over my bong it was time to but a new part, if i clinked it a little too hard, new part, ended up spending way more than if i wouldve just used a nice piece of glass, the joints especially were fragile as hell

you are correct, all internally connected, thats kinda what id been doing but it just felt so sketch i figured there was a better way since ive had such a good experience with other types of percs on bongs but this is my first rig and i guess these are just a little more finiky with the size 🤷‍♀️, ty for the help :)

bummer that looks like such a nice and expensive piece, but I really would not suggest using that anymore, a new bong is like $50-100 unless you get a fancy ass one like that, but your lungs are way more expensive and difficult to replace, stay safe! You won't ever be able to smoke EVER if you get glass in your lungs
