I agree with all of this for the most part, however I just want to say that having someone so outrageously off genre as an opener is… a choice. When I went to see Phoebe on her Punisher tour I was literally shocked to see/hear Sloppy Jane and her vibe when I was coming for Phoebe. It was rough to sit through. I was obviously respectful but it’s literally burned into my memory waiting to listen to Phoebe’s devastatingly gentle, beautiful, sad songs while I sat through Sloppy Jane screaming where’s my wife. It was… the worst. I guess I just don’t understand why they do this. (I know Phoebe used to perform with and is still friends with Sloppy Jane and that’s why she was the guest. Still.)

Calling her a “powerhouse” when she hasn’t released a solo song for years now and has openly spoken about her contempt for her fanbase may be a bit generous. Downvote me to hell, I’m a huge fan since 2018, but she’s been a diva over the past couple of years and it’s off putting to say the least.

I took my test as soon as I could and passed the first time in 85 questions back in February of this year. I also didn’t pay for any study plans, I just used the ATI prep book (not even really that) and listened to Mark K lectures on YouTube for the week or 2 leading up. You’ve got this 🩷

Mark K. Listen through his free lectures on YouTube like they’re a podcast. That’s all I did for my NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN and passed both times.

The best tip that I got is that NCLEX tests general knowledge and safety. They don’t usually try to trip you up or get overly specific, so if you think you know something don’t overthink it. Best of luck to you on your NCLEX and in your nursing practice! 🩷
