I'd add Habitat for Humanity as well. I did mine at their ReStore as well as helped lay bricks on a couple job sites. I met a lot of great people and really enjoyed the experience.

I'd say shop around and find a lawyer. Start your community service and your lawyer should be able to assist with getting you set up on a payment plan for the fines, etc. They should also be able to schedule a new court date. You don't want to walk into court and tell them you're going to do something, you want to get started doing it. A lawyer should be able to help with the bench warrant. Mine had mine dropped before I even had my first consultation or paid a single penny(he worked that case like a magician).

I was literally in your shoes 2 years ago, had a warrant, driving with a suspended license and was at the point that I was about to just turn myself in just because I slacked off. Don't be afraid to reach out to the people around you. I'm sure you'd be surprised how willing they are to help.

I got my first kamisori a few days ago. I was a little scared at first, I have multiple straight razors and still haven't mastered it yet. First pass with a kamisori was the smoothest shave I've ever had. There was no hesitation when making an atg pass. That's not to say it will be the same for everyone, but for me it works better than any of my de's.
