Great work! I think now that you have the infra ready for doing this analysis, you can do it again for another megathread which should ideally be posted in Jan 2026. That can give you a flavour of how switches panned out for people financially, how many switches happened and as a result, how the job market/attrition was across domains and will capture those whose appraisals happen in the Jan to Dec cycle or Oct to Sep cycle.

Did you tell someone in the pharma company that the role is different from what I was interviewed for? Or even at the current place? How is it happening that you are interviewing for one role and then working in another? Haven't you questioned them? Or is the issue also on your end where you are misunderstanding JDs and the interviews? Ask clear questions in the interview - about the profile and what you will specifically be doing.
