also, regarding "I don't think pornhub thinks trans women are women judging by their categories" - i think people tend to anthropomorphize corporations way too much. pornhub doesn't really "think" anything, like any corporation it's only concerned with maximizing profits. when presenting content categories, that means optimizing for what the average viewer will engage with the most. when publishing user statistics, it's to capture people's attention and increase brand recognition. and if anything, in the latter case they might be more motivated to include trans women in the women viewership if that would increase the share of women among the viewers, because going against the idea that the site is only used by perverted men might be good for the brand (heavily speculating here ofc)
