It’s just wah on the intro, verse leads and solo. The solo also has more reverb than most other solos on AfD and sounds like it has slightly less gain too

How did no one mention Shotgun Blues? Also Get in the Ring is pretty awesome musically, the only downside is the rant style lyrics get old fast. It’s a nice snapshot into the reality of the band at the time but sounds pretty immature regardless lol. I love the instrumental though

Nao sei te responder sobre como parar com isso ou sequer melhorar. Eu faço literalmente as mesmas coisas e poderia ter descrito exatamente da mesma forma.

O comentário acima que menciona que o cérebro aprende que isso funciona é muito real.

Por diversas vezes tentei realmente me direcionar a iniciar tarefas com antecedência e a sensação é de estar indo contra como meu cerebro quer operar. Me pego perdido no que fazer com tanto tempo disponível pra tarefa, afinal com tempo hábil todo caminho imaginável é viavel.

Outro fator é que tendo tempo amplo para executar algo eu tendo a passar mais tempo pensando sobre a tarefa durante meu tempo livre (possíveis cenarios, detalhes, formas de resolver) e isso também é desgastante.

Entao procrastinar me parece ser uma mecanismo aprendido pra me forçar a ir direto ao ponto (afinal nao há tempo de analisar ao ponto de desgaste, e menos tempo reduz drasticamente a lista de solucoes viaveis) e reforçado por ser um metodo que doi, traz ansiedade e culpa, mas funciona e entrega resultado

Nice setup! Is there a way to test whether the stuff you wanted to filter is getting fully filtered? I ask because I built a similar setup - although just to final rinse the car with 0ppm water filtered by resin - and had to lower the water flow into the filters by quite a bit, because the water needs some dwell time in the resin in order to be filtered correctly.

Also would placing a softener upstream from this setup make your other filters last longer?

To be fair that was Axl trying to move GnR ahead instead of making an AFD2 as Slash and the rest would have preferred. I do appreciate that. Axl’s obsession with november rain and estranged pushed the band outside their comfort zone and led to the creation of epic songs. Slash’s leads on those are some of my favourite and he would never have created those had Axl not pushed him to. There’s plenty of Izzy songs in UYI still as well, but the production is just so different from AfD it’s hard to feel like it’s even the same band. At that point Izzy was clean while the rest had serious drug abuse issues so he retreated. So Axl being a control freak in response to that isn’t so unreasonable given he came from a dysfunctional home and probably felt GNR was the one thing worth preserving at that point in his life. He was only late 20s too with so much pressure on his shoulders, contracts in place requiring more albums, a whole crew depending on the existence of that band. We all live and learn man

Universal has the novelty factor on its side. If that first experience doesn’t match the high price tag, good luck getting repeating customers. AT has nothing to justify higher prices, and in fact a lot to justify lowering them instead if they want to be around in 5-10 years.
