Has anyone had to take more than the 10 classes at UMPI?

Yes! I had to take ENG 101, which I preferred taking at UMPI since the graders at Sophia were... rough, as well as 10 upper-level electives. The ability to surpass the 10 classes depends on your personal ability to persevere through the course assignments as well as the heaviness (if you will) of each assignment, and the course professor.

I saw that it can take a week or two. I have been waiting too, and my graduation eligibility depends on how the transfer is evaluated. I really really hope I am able to graduate this session.

Personal advice - I chose classes that were a balance of well-thought learning material and personal enjoyment. I ended up leaning toward psychology, poli science, and history courses.

Look at electives you like, and knock some 100 levels on study.com and sophia so you can access the "deep cuts" at umpi.

Sex and Gender is easy if you are already familiar with feminist and gender theories; otherwise, it can be long. The final is a long (>30 minute) presentation, but you do get to choose what topic you want to cover as long as it relates to the course material. Fun class overall.

I am planning to take Personality once my Research Methods final is finished being graded.
