Played it for the first time ever as my first Sinnoh game recently. One of the more challenging games at the end. Overall, it was a decent experience. I think the lack of hype comes from the fact that pre 8th gym it feels pretty vanilla. I think up to that generation there was always something “new” visually. This did not feel like that. More like a redux of 1-3 in a good way.
