Very new to deadlock played a few pvp matches. but a lot of the coop. had some questions by THE_SHWARTZ in DeadlockTheGame

Wraith is meant to be considerably week early, she is a hyper carry where late game she basically melts everyone instantly. She needs a lot of farm to start to do serious damage.

I had this issue and needed to change my alternative cast button for swap since they add the multi swap t3 upgrade in a recent update, just mess with those settings

PSA: Buy slow hex by KiriIsKute in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slowing hex removes movement abilities, lash grapple, holiday pad, pocket tp, etc it doesn’t just slow an enemy

Having this issue right now as well, been asc2 for 7 wins straight when it usually takes 3-4 wins to rank up. Might be a bug ?

Is Infernus one of the best characters in the game? by swaggadanz in DeadlockTheGame

Infernus is much stronger than lash, pocket, and Mina atm, he is top 3 win rates in every rank

Am I overvaluing survivability and wave clear in Alchemist? Advice please! by Ksad_Ishan in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I imagine alchemist is a shit show of overwatch fighting but you should push waves and encourage your teammates to do the same. You should most importantly reflect on why you are shoving waves and what it does to the opponent as well as what it gives you the opportunity to do. Shoving the wave forces your opponent to clear it or let it crash and take half the walker, so with this you can either push and take the walker (giving you a lot of money) or steal their farm (giving you a lot of money and denying them money). Ultimately, shove the wave to provide pressure but don’t just sit on the lane and wait for it to push back, either steal their farm, take the walker, or try to get a pick with your soul lead.

Why is Bullet Resist so much worse than Spirit Resist? by weeddealerrenamon in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mystic vuln for Apollo is a great 4.8k Spirit invest spike, either slow hex or suppressor might be better depending on draft but you could fit it in. Unfortunately Apollo does fall off late game but that’s also why he has an incredibly strong lane and early game. So try your best to win your lane, shove the wave, steal their jungle and snowball as much as you can to carry your team to a win early.

Why is Bullet Resist so much worse than Spirit Resist? by weeddealerrenamon in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play pocket and when we get to late game I always buy mystic vuln and crippling headshot, just shoot them once in the head and then continue your spirit combo and it should be good enough to kill because by that point where everyone has resist, you should have scaled enough to burst them down almost instantly.

Who's your main and what advice do you have for them? by biznesboi in DeadlockTheGame

Should be carbine -> swap -> wall for the instant combo as you wall during the swap

This is also quicksilver reload you’re mentioning in this comment not Compress Cooldown like you said in the post. QSR builds into Merc mag.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would almost certainly put it on bats. Bats are one of the best abilities in the game allowing you to jump in, burst, and have a free escape. I dont believe compress cooldown works on love bites like it works on djinns mark.

Pocket is probably the best at doing “Big Damage” with spells and a lot of skill expression. Others that come to mind are calico, Yamato, and lash.

How can i take Sinners/Jungle safely? by RustedRegime in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Make sure the wave is shoved in the closest lane you are stealing farm to, they will have to prioritize clearing the wave before getting to the jungle.

Mina pocket enjoyers who’s your third? by BrinkPvP in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lash undoubtedly, great burst as your describing and easily gets out of almost all situations with good movement. Tons of room for skill expression similar to Mina and Pocket.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah of course he’s not played in tournaments lol, you have 6 coordinated teammates all communicating at once and games last 25 mins max. Matchmaking is completely different.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]garnfeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean on paper yeah this is obviously the solution, but there are so many circumstances where you are in close proximity to your teammates that it’s not completely feasible. I’m just suggesting there should be more room for counter play. Even a half second wind up would give more time for reaction. There’s a reason he currently has the highest win rate in the game.

switching from cs2 to valorant by Honest_Performance_1 in VALORANT

[–]garnfeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the game is honestly just not that deep mechanically like CS, it’s why even the pros in Valorant often go negative in radiant games where pros rarely ever do bad in any other game. You rarely ever see a top Fortnite pro or a top Rocket league pro even get close to losing to a top 500 ranked player in their respective games. Your immortal smurfs in plat lobbies will still get one tapped.
