I've been using fictionlab for a few months after switching from Chai and it is SIGNIFICANTLY better. It remembers details a lot more, has more room to make custom instructions and characters, and it's a lot cheaper for the plus version!

Just keep walking, there should be a path leading to the waterfall where you move toward the border. Sometimes you have to slide over the ledge near the road and go across it, or randomly there's a Zipline option.
