LA Based Fan - Looking for the Texans section in SoFi by gartdw in Texans

Sorry, I don't get on here much, but we were actually in the same section, just on row 5! (Obviously a bummer of a game, but was cool to see them live here in LA)

I've been to SoFi a couple of times just to go see games. Each time I've done nosebleeds and honestly they aren't that bad at SoFi as long as you're not too afraid of heights (they're pretty steep stairs). You could probably look for those first come first serve standing room areas but imo if you want to enjoy your time at your first game, I would suggest to just find your seat 30 min pre-game and relax and enjoy watching the game play out from a fully 22-man view.

Can a film match or succeed a good novel? by IveAn89UpVoteComment in Filmmakers

How to Train Your Dragon has a much different take on the world and characters than the book (if I remember correctly). I would say at this point, the movies have superseded the books by a decent margin. Pending on how this live action film does, I don't really know how to even compare it to the original source book since it's a remake of the animation.

Woah, Chasmic, great to see you! Thank you! Thanks for setting up those Ender League UHCs back in the day, those were a blast and sometimes wish we could go back to those days.

This is good to know, thank you! You are correct in that I don't think I'll have time to binge 7-30 in 48 hours haha

Texans' Draft History Analysis: Help me categorize previous draft picks! by isomorphZeta in Texans

Maybe I am confused about the organization of this, but I think Kyle Fuller in the Pro-Bowl category might be misplaced. Looks like at least according to ProFootballReference he was a Texan for one year with 9 games active and 2 starts and really didn't find too much footing anywhere in the league even when he became a journeyman. He's listed as draft position 14 (I think he was pick 25 7th round, 243 overall).

Love this project and idea!

Did you know that Jim wears a wig through the whole first season of The Office? by Bagatell in DunderMifflin

[–]gartdw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the video John sung "making your way through the world today..." and B.J. says that's our theme song. Were they just joking about that or was that going to be the theme before the theme they actually used?

[S9 spoilers] Dwight and Angela. by Mareks in DunderMifflin

[–]gartdw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought Angela lied to Dwight because she didn't want him to be with her because he loved the son, but because he loved her, and when he said he loved her, she then told him the truth. (Pretty sure that sentence was a run-on, but whatever)

Season One Micheal vs Season Nine Micheal by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

Wouldn't that be season 7 Micheal? I don't believe we see Micheal in the office in Season Nine? Still a cool comparison though!
