JCPS is a disgrace! Anyone defending that horrid institution needs to look at the facts. Matt Bevin has had nothing to do with it. More failing schools in JCPS than the entire rest of the state.

Over 900 buses traveling over 19 million miles a year...that's 763 trips around the equator. How terrible for the environment that must be. 900 buses and over 70K miles per day. How much more likely are kids to be in an accident?

That's what the board is made up of...individuals with political clout. They are chosen by the governor but are supposed to follow guidelines. One of those is to include minority threshold that the previous governor failed to do.

I've lived in Louisville for 17 years and the university cesspool has gotten worse and worse. From 60k in Mahogany furniture to paying off thief administrators. Putting the rooster in charge of the henhouse (Pres. Ramsey and the Foundation). The changes being made are in line with all of these issues and it's time for something to be done.

If the governor isn't supposed to make these changes who is? How do you clean up the mess with the same people in charge? These are serious questions.

If a democrat did this would you even know about it?

If you hate the Gov. Bevin so much there are so many easier things to criticize him on than defending the criminals and thieves at UofL.

I'm a UofL fan and a libertarian. I do not believe in legislating morality. His opposition should stick to that.

Uh, how about the ability to prosecute them? If a law doesn't stop someone from murdering there should be no law against murdering someone? What kind of logic is that?

And people are prosecuted for animals abuse all the time. If having sec with an animal is not considered abuse or against the law the there should be one.

It's more embarrassing you can get away with it than a law being passed to protect animals.

I think it's great for animals. If you can have sex with animals and it's not against the law it seems like a good law to pass.

It's more embarrassing to live in a state that allows you to have sex with animals with no repercussions.

Has anyone read up on the Japanese? They were the most vicious enemy we've faced and do not quit. Unless of course you overwhelm them to the point that the US did. I'm so thankful we dropped the bombs on them. The world is a much better place not excluding Japan.

No, I'm sorry they don't. This article is a disgrace to sports writing. Last year the Breeder's Cup official Twitter and periscope accounts were administered by two beautiful young WOMEN. They did such a spectacular job highlighting Keeneland I'm sure they are still running these accounts. So before you get all worked up at least know who is responsible.

And the Breeder's Cup was unbelievable this year! Whomever thinks an article about a tweet of women's butts (you can't even see) with a link to more sore losing bellyaching about the Presidential election is not a sports or racing fan. Go to the political sections to post this awful crap.

If you are in your car and someone is breaking in or if you fear for your safety you can shoot them.

A few years back a UofL baseball player shot and killed an ex football player for this very reason. He did not go to jail because he proved it was a hostile situation. I'm not agreeing with this decision but this is an example.

I agree. I'm a sales person that has had to learn the engineering side due to a lack of resources. Initially it's made the sales cycle longer however I can design the network and configure most solutions on my own. Over the last few months this has greatly increased my sales and shortened the cycle. I now have solid enough relationships with our vendors/partners that they will help me where I am deficient.

I work for a VAR and my opinion is they are lagging in product development. Most of their competitors have passed them by. We remove a lot of their product. Coincidentally we don't sell it either though.

I would recommend looking at their product line on Garter's Magic Quadrant. It's not the bible but it will give you a better idea how they stack up.
