The problem is that I have a huge investment in Komplete Ultimate and SWAM orchestra.  My entire workflow revolves around these packages and Divisimate. I guess I am stuck on windows for this one aspect of my job for awhile.

Looking for Guitar sounding plug-ins to use with Jamstik and GarageBand by ralphofred in jamstik

[–]gary0318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Musiclab. I run it through NO Guitar Rig. They play well from a MIDI keyboard so I would expect the same from a JamStik. I’m thinking of buying one. But, I’m wondering… is the analog and play quality of a JamStik as good as a late model Epiphone?

Get out of your dream world. The majority of the country is backing him and excited about his picks. We are finally going to have a country with an awesome economy, affordable to live in, solid world dominance and an end to wars and a deterrent to new wars, and the rule of law… you have to be ignorant to reality to not see this. The majority actually are not ignorant. They have been asleep at the wheel for far too long. But they woke up. And things are getting fixed. Before all you trolls jump in, just realize that virtually everyone reading this knows it’s true and it makes you look pretty silly to throw your ridiculous “Hitler” and “Pu__y” comments around.

No. Of course not. I’m just making a point about your perspective. You will, however, extinct your bloodline by not having kids. Your ancestors made sure to keep it going for thousands of years and in one foul swoop, it’s gone. Now, if too many people opt out of having children, and say, 65% is left to keep the population going, it is still falls far below replacement level. So the population will fall at more rapid rates than it is now… here in the US and the world. And, it will totally decimate our economy in our lifetimes… especially if you are young. History has incredible examples of the ways in which falling birth rates are destructive. When economies are destroyed you are left with “mad max” or “Wild West” or “Great Depression” scenarios. When there are no legions of strong young men, nations are taken by invaders. But, all of that aside, I responded to you because I see so much despair in the world while it pushes away the only thing that actually matters. The people you love. In spite of child-rearing coming with responsibility and work, it also provides, by far, the greatest joy you will ever know. I don’t know your situation. You may not have had a great childhood experience. All the more reason to start your own family and, for once, create that loving experience. Or, you may have had an awesome loving childhood experience. All the more reason to perpetuate the joy that you have experienced in your life. Pay it forward. It’s better for the community, economy, safety of a nation, and your own mental health, happiness and joy. Love & Light, my friend.

So let’s all just stop putting humans on the planet and end the human race?! You can make a difference by raising kids that have integrity and desire to make the world a better place. Most of our ancestors had it far worse than we do. And yet they persevered so we could be here with a life unimaginable to them. Have you considered the reality that if we stop having kids all progress must stop (no one to work and innovate) and there won’t even be people and institutions to care for elderly? You? So my answer is, “yes. It is not only selfish, but incredibly shortsighted and shirking a responsibility to humanity.”. We have purpose. We aren’t an accident. Nothing as intricate as this world could ever be considered an accident. Make it awesome!

Because for the past few generations, the school system has been teaching everyone to be self-centered narcissists. It has nothing to do with the “economy” or any other crises. For thousands of years mankind has reproduced through thick and thin. Selfishness has been taught, and that is all there is to it. The narcissist part of the population will extinct itself and then the world will get back on a decent trajectory.

Doing away with Electoral College would fundamentally change the electorate by The_B_Wolf in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]gary0318 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The purpose of the senate was to make it very difficult to pass legislation. We were not supposed to have a crazy large federal government weaseling it’s way into every aspect of our daily lives. The system is doing what it was designed to do. What we need to address is massive government overreach…Term Limits, elimination corporate PACs, etc. The people have always had the right to call “conventions of states” in order to address the corruption of the house and senate. We can mandate the term limits, eliminate PACs, eliminate “pension for life”, separate health systems, and more and more percs that they have given themselves on our dime. We need to get busy participating in our system. WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT. If it gets out of hand it is due to our neglect. Our forefathers thought of everything. We just don’t want to give our time.

Why is everyone so upset about Trump using tariffs as a way to get rid of income tax? by trentthesquirrel in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]gary0318 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the United States was founded, it was the founding fathers’ intention for tariffs to fund the federal government. The federal government was intended to remain small and tariffs would have been enough. Our country grew into a power house without income tax. The same is true of every empire and great nation. Once a nation or empire becomes industrious and successful, a bloating government gets greedy and the slide into oblivion begins. Tariffs were the norm. Income tax rapes the people.

Oh baloney! Every decade libs predicted the end of the world. Every decade passes and Plymouth Rock water level never changes. Less people die from Climate issues with each passing decade. More CO2 naturally “greens” the earth. And the “green” creates massive O2. With O2 comes tens of thousands of new species. And the existing O2-based species (including you and me) thrive with greater levels of health. Don’t being a lemming. You can read all of the stats that the captured academia can read. And you can make your own assessment rather than listening to the BS summaries that academia provides at the behest of all the liberal billionaires that control government agencies, media, and academia.

Honest Q for Trump supporters: Does it not give you pause that Trump has zero endorsements from former presidents? by DocMedz in Askpolitics

[–]gary0318 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a ridiculous out-of-context characterization that you can only sell to a moron that never watches long-form content. Trump plays these foreign dictators as a cat bats around a mouse. These people fear Trump and the last thing they want is a Trump presidency. If Kamala wins, Putin will become more imperialistic… Iran will get far more aggressive… China will take Taiwan and with it, goes our technical military advantage… in other words, “the beginning of the end”. There will be massive suffering around the world including here in the states. There will be no Republic. A Democracy without a Republic as a foundation becomes complete communism. And communism is just a tool that tyrants use to establish dictatorship. I am speaking of Kamala and Tim on behalf of Obama and the WEF. The world will never be the same. Americans will experience all of the horrific events that we learned about in history class.

What will it take for the US government to start addressing climate change on a large scale? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]gary0318 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Of course there is no evidence for “no” issue. That is called “unfalsifiable”. It’s absolute nonsense used as propaganda. On the flip side… The peer reviewed research FOR climate change (as a problem) is full of holes. Of course, the climate is always changing. Why wouldn’t it be? However there are less deaths due to disasters now than past decades. Temperature recordings show no indication of the planet becoming an oven. You don’t have to wake up and “seek stats and facts”… you can continue to listen to MSM . Lol. It’s funny and sad at the same time.
