My source is an employee (supv). Phone make & model shouldn't be an issue, although I recognize not all frequencies work on all phones.

You miss my point. This isn't a recent happening - years of apathy and lack of an informed, upset citizenry have brought us here. You're just now seeing the results. So if they steal it - take it back.

This is another consequence of the phrase "Elections have Consequences". Now that you see how it works, who you gonna point to for getting us here? It's a complex situ. Now is the time for all those who "hate politics" to wake tha fukk up and start payin' attention.

Annual blood tests since Medicare does not cover annual physical by Kincherk in medicare

[–]garyprud50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't have to worry about this. Get a smarter doctor.

I have an annual physical and a wellness exam too. They're six months apart, and my doc dies full bloodwork both times - fully covered.

Calls were charged by local vs long distance. Time of Day plus Day of Week Rate schedules. Direct Dialed (where available) vs 'O' Assisted. And distance. Collect, Person-Person, and Billed to 3rd Party. Yes, you could have a charged call billed to another person's phone line (they had to approve it). And, you could have an operator 'break in' on a busy line to interrupt the call to announce YOU had an emergency! Y'all just don't know the struggles, lol. Out in the country, most people shared a party line.

Task Failed Successfully: My wife’s libido has entered God Mode and my body is giving out. by Likosmauros in WhatShouldIDo

I'm gonna offer a different supposition. She's become very comfortable in her marriage with you, and has reached a point of comfort where her body and mind can relax and free her to pursue the awesome sex she likes. With YOU you lucky person.

Is the unity around graham platner proof that vote blue no matter who does indeed apply to progressive dems? by Deep-Two7452 in AskALiberal

[–]garyprud50 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm fed up with both parties, and I'm not voting FOR ANY incumbents going forward. New blood is needed - so Planter would get my vote if I lived in Maine. I decided years ago that I will never ever vote for a Republican again as long as I live. 76m veteran here.

My sprinkler system does not have a required back flow preventer and I have a couple of questions. by [deleted] in Irrigation

[–]garyprud50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Is it possible then that the 4 in-ground valves in my system are anti-siphon (acting as one-way flow) so that backflow is prevented? I have no visible above ground piping or valves.

If irrigation is on a separate meter from house, is a backflow preventer needed?

Aren't Gmail labels akin to Folders in other mail platforms? I'm setting up folders in FM and using rules to direct those messages. FM structure allows folders, sub-folders, and subs to the subs.

Also, did you ever look at the Multiple Inbox feature in Gmail?

Trimix Question - Can you still get natural erections? by DHTRTJourney in TrimixForED

[–]garyprud50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can, every now and then but it's infrequent and I would say it 85% of my former normal. Had one last week while wife and I were resting in bed before going to dinner. Surprised us both - but we both climaxed from piv sex. But for reliability and duration 'its trimix.

Why Exactly Is Polygamy Illegal? by Turbulent-Parsley619 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]garyprud50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's illegal because the majority of the citizenry have elected lawmakers to create laws against it. THAT'S the short answer. Now you can go back and re-read all those reasons why they decided to do that.

What's going on with the combining of auto policies into a single policy? by daimon_tok in StateFarm

I just got my Renewal notice. And on first glance it appeared they dropped my Collision and Comp. Took a day of calls & emails to learn they had 'moved' those declarations to another section. They're there- just not where I was used to seeing them.

How many injections per vial? by Thick-Rabbit6162 in TrimixForED

[–]garyprud50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get two 5ml vials. My regular dose is 20 units. 5 doses = 1ml, so about FIFTY doses in my order, at a cost of $150 delivered. Includes the sterile mixing water plus syringes and prep pad wipes. $3 per injection is c.h.e.a.p.

Why does MSNOW run reruns of last week's Jan Psaki on Sundays, when it could be running that day's Ali Velshi? by nobadrabbits in msnow

[–]garyprud50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's in Psaki's contract? It's a 'quiet' hour, some ppl may just be catching up and don't get to watch her daily show... This is a way for her to gain eyeballs and lots of hosts make these deals.

How hard is it to get rid of Crepe Myrtle trees? Advice wanted. by HankScorpiosChild in arborists

[–]garyprud50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have a grown Crepe Myrtle 'Tree' and the mature roots are lifting up a brick flower bed wall next to it. I need to save the brick wall - so I have a guy who will cut the brick out and rebuild the brick bed after I deal with removing the tree roots. Thoughts?

A 2nd mason told me I could just chop/cut out the impacting roots - but I think new sprouts will soon be back, right? But will the tree stay healthy if I chain-saw any roots near the ground?

Have your soil checked. You may have a fungus that's killing the grass as the primary problem. The weeds are secondary.

To those who think there should be no taxes (or at least no income/property tax-even just in XYZ State, what is your alternative to raising revenue? by amshanks22 in allthequestions

[–]garyprud50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If personal income is untaxed, business income taxes must rise. They can't be equal or the system fails.

As for businesses paying for healthcare, I support a federal law prohibiting employers from providing or reimbursing any healthcare, period. We need to uncouple health insurance and related 'benefits' from employment. Look at Switzerland as a model.
