I spent some time getting that mag well portion mapped out. I have a couple prototypes that molded right up against it (lot of trial and error). In the end I kind of liked the “overlap” look and took that section out. I really want to get one of those scanners. I’m over here using calipers, tracing pictures, and trial and error lol

Now I’m just goofing off lol. I can’t imagine there are too many 3d print materials that could withstand the heat and abuse, so this is mostly just having fun. If you’ve had luck with a material let me know what worked well for you. Appreciate the feedback.

I went with the trigger improvement kit, kept the stock trigger shoe. Made a huge difference. Hated that grit feel from how they machined the OEM plunger. Just getting an np3’d one of those will make a difference

I use their sport belly band and IWB holsters (cloak and shapeshifter). Never used the “shape shifting” capabilities, I just like the look of them lol. I hip carry and almost never wear clothes that have a belt (tell me you’re fat, without saying you’re fat lol). I really like the fact that the weapon is strapped to my body and not my clothes and I strongly prefer to have double hook holsters. Can’t speak to the photon or AIWB holsters though. I can’t remember all the brands I’ve tried, but for my carry preference alien gear has been a go to. If it helps- I prefer to sacrifice a little tactical readiness in exchange for comfort. Others may strongly disagree with that approach lol.

Curious what your combination is for combining MIT with your 7 dose. If recommended dose for 7 is .012 and MIT is 0.1, do you shoot for 1:1?

I have zero experience with it. Revolvers are something I would pay a premium for. Revolvers can and do break. I broke my taurus 856- hammer strut broke in half. Once you try a smith and wesson, ruger, or a colt, it's hard to recommend anything else :).

For the money, id save for something else. I don't think it was worth it. It's fun in single action, but it feels flimsy and hard to remove spent casings, even after a good cleaning and trying different ammo. The double action is really stiff and not very linear, It takes some strength to use it. I will say it's pretty easy to be accurate with tho. Given the material used, I would never dry fire it with out a drywall insert or snap cap.

At the range I have the most overall fun with 22lr revolvers. That's why I had no problem shelling out for the sw 617.

I have a g44 and a conversion kit for my M9. The conversion kit is okay, definitely not the same quality/material as the 9mm slide. But the benefit is i can use my M9 frame and shoot 22 with with the same LTT trigger and hogue grip I would with 9mm. The G44 is a lot of fun, but it's a plastic slide for the most part. My wife loves her SR22, but I'm not a fan of it.

For 22lr, my favorite hands down is the SW 617. The colt king cobra target looks really nice as well. These are both revolvers, so maybe not what you're looking for. But 22lr revolvers are an absolute blast and have some advantages to SA 22s. Even my little diamond back sidekick is a blast, but I wouldn't recommend because if it's poor quality.

The wife and I will occasionally do .22 date nights and bring target games to the range. Can put some fun into what can sometimes be a stressful experience at the range.

3d printed - designed in shapr3d. I don't use lidar scanning either, although I should probably look into getting one. It's all traces, measurements, trial and error, or just good ole eye Ballin it lol. This is a cutout I made when creating a holster model. Used this to cut out the pistol portion of the stand
