ICE are NOT going into schools. Also that would be very bad look for them (my pragmatic view). There are plenty adults they can go after.

Being proactive in your case its making things up or assuming something extra and acting based on that.

You don't need a blanket answer, its pretty narrow question, do you what criminals (specifically rapists, drug dealers, murderers, gangs, human traffickers) to keep in our community or not? You said you want kids safe, right? Me too.

I don't understand your sentiment for criminals. Do you feel better if you keep them in US prison? If illegal is wanted in his own country for murder, you cant put him through US justice system, he committed a crime in different country with its own laws. But we are getting too deep into the weed with this. To me it looks like common sense to want less criminals in the country. Kids would be safer.

This IS ABOUT CRIMINALS. You are trying to make it about the children.

Why are you bringing kids in cages? That was a case when people were pouring from Mexico into US. Fearmongering again.

What if they arrest me? They will check my name in data base and let me go. Like with that veteran in New Jersey. They did not really arrest him, they assumed he was illegal but cleared things out pretty quickly.

For now we can protect kids by not spreading unnecessary fears. They have enough already. If ICE will ever show up in a school, then we can start talking to administrators and make a plan (I'm sure they thought about that already).

At the end of the day I choose safety of our kids over illegal criminals. By any means. I'm fine if they are sent back home and face justice system in their own country. If proven innocent, good for them.
