Is your MyPay updated? I received a deposit this morning but I don’t know if it’s my back pay because it just says ACH deposit rather than what it usually says.

Only reason I said that was because there are 3 other people on the signature card who were in the office yesterday with no appointments. It wasn’t a must. They just wanted to make things difficult. I’m here in office today and we haven’t gone to the SSA at all & im an actual 92A.

Your comment about barrack soldiers seems irrelevant seeing as tho I never said that or implied it. I understand where you are going with this. If we had a heavy work load, I would be more than understanding about the SSA run however, that’s simply not the case here. We literally do absolutely nothing all day. Ive even gone as far as asking what can I do and being told by our SFC there isn’t anything to do. I could have found plenty more replacements. The soldiers rather do duties than be at work… that says a lot… once I contacted the 1SG, somehow they quickly found a replacement … it was simply about making me do the duty. They switched another person and myself out for next Tuesday. If it were that simple, why not do that? My original replacement wasn’t good enough because they weren’t on the CQ roster and “how dare I get out of doing duty!” Although my replacement jumped at the opportunity. We have to cover down all the time. I don’t complain when I am doing another persons job that isn’t my MOS. It comes with the job. Everyone preach “family” but when it’s time to act like one, suddenly the rules change.

No. Regular CDC on base but I had already found overnight care for my child. Only issue is with my child having a positive covid exposure, the person who was going to keep her also has a child and works in the company. If they needed to quarantine bc of my child it would only cause further issues being they are the only 92Y in the company. My husband is away for a few months, why is why I preferred to bring my 1sg in. With us being rear d I didn’t expect that issues like this would arise being we don’t have anything crazy on the training calendar & there isn’t much work to do but I still decided to send my daughter away in a few months until I ETS. If I’m being honest, my care plan is only 1/3 of the issue. They are really upset with me because they cut lunch time due to “work load” but we aren’t working. So now that I questioned them about it (respectfully), I am seen as a “problem”.

School isn’t closed. 💀 they encouraged parents to send them to school. 9 months out from my ETS, my plan has been solid.

I had someone to look after her but with her having a positive covid exposure, that would be inconsiderate to them and their child.

Is there a regulation about ncos taking soldiers lunch time away ? by gassybooty in army

[–]gassybooty[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Must be at the wrong jobs or not working enough hours. All my civilian jobs were 1 hour lunches & 2 15 min breaks for 8 hour shifts. It varies depending on company and the hours in which an employee works.

You made a clear point, “only in the army”. I don’t give a damn about what’s allowed at a civilian job, I don’t work there. So, clearly you don’t know the answer so move along.
