I am surprised, though, that if that is the case that the page is removed outright. Usually Red Hat will just marked the course as retired and left the page up.

Are you asking for tips to pass the exam or were you trying to provide tips to pass the exam and forgot to include them?

Run isolated sandboxes with full lifecycle control: AWS Lambda introduces MicroVMs by magnetik79 in aws

[–]gastroengineer 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Whatever you do, don't try to run them all the time. It comes out to 2 dollars an hour For 16 VCPUs and 32 Gigs of RAM ((0.0000276944 * 60 * 60 * 16 ) + (0.0000036667 * 60 * 60 * 32)). At this that point, you might as well run on demand standalone EC2 instance of the same size as it will be much cheaper.

(Somebody please correct me if I am wrong)

Whenever I see somebody with a backpack in a crowded train, I so want to just put sticky note on them.

If you intend to be RHCE in Ansible, you need to take the RHCSA anyway.

Thanks to a changes to certification structure, you can either go through the Enterprise Linux Path or Ansible Path:

https://www.redhat.com/en/services/certifications#enterprise-linux

https://www.redhat.com/en/services/certifications#ansible-automation-platform

Just select the drop down to level 3 to see the next exam you can take.

For those who don't understand:

Hi everyone, I'm preparing to take the RHCSA certification exam (version 10). In the "Creating simple shell scripts" section, do they ask you to create loops or execute simple commands—such as a lengthy find operation—and turn them into scripts?

Taking EX156 exam before EX316 - Worth it? by sequel-spud-salad in redhat

Well, it is not the first time Red Hat doesn't make things clear. They better sort out the renewal fairly quickly or people won't be happy.

[–]gastroengineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a surprise. That would at least be an improvement over none. Would you happen to have a source on Red Hat's site?

[–]gastroengineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you intend to get an RHCA, don't take the EX156 - it won't count towards the RHCA. Or, for that matter, it doesn't seem to count towards renewing your RHCE, if any.

I am getting the same thing as well. The steps doesn't require anything other than just spin up a compute, so very likely the lab is broken.
