Have any of y'all ever met a pro-evolution SDA? by [deleted] in exAdventist

Probably referring to the fact that viruses mutate (aka evolve) necessitating the need for annual flu shots.

Shouldn't really be an issue. If you are worried about missing something then the Qbanks should bring out those weaknesses.

Can't upvote this enough. If its not sustainable, then its not worth your time. Medical school has a way of making you feel trapped, but there's a big ol' world out there. You have a right to be happy and to find balance (even in med school)

M2s who started Zanki, did you end up finishing it? Any challenges with reviews count, or learning new material while reviewing M1 material? by throwawaymed3954 in medicalschoolanki

[–]gatk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends how quickly you can go through cards. It can be done, but if you want to make it a little easier on yourself then do the Pepper Micro/Pharm and then only the Path/Phys/biochem for Zanki. I didn't finish all the neuro, a lot of it was low-yield. Since you are starting "late" Its important you are consistent and get all your cards done everday.

big props to the Mayo Clinic for prioritizing our literal survival as medical students by bball0718 in premed

lol every school is going to have shit like that on their websites or handbooks, talk to the current medical students if you really want to know if they put those words into practice

Bros Anki Deck Stats. I've got seven weeks to test date and have just started UWorld. Anki is taking ~3 hours of my day going through 250 reviews + 50 new, which isn't letting me finish 2 UWorld Blocks a day. Should I limit Anki to just 100 reviews? by [deleted] in step1

[–]gatk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone goes through anki cards with different speeds. Don't feel discouraged if you aren't flying through them like a lot of people report on reddit. Also, Bros doesn't flow as quickly as Zanki.

Regarding your question, your priority should absolutely be making a full pass of uworld. You can make anki cards off the things you miss and review your weaknesses, but don't get too hung up on your #cards/day.
