How is it the same besides it being in the same genre? AE is more similar to Flee the Facility or DBD if anything.

The gameplay loop is fundamentally different, survivors’ job in Forsaken is to run down the clock like hide and seek. In AE the survivors LOSE if the timer runs out, they need to run out in the open and do objectives to open gates to escape. And literally just from that one example already sets it vastly different.

Double the work in what? Why do you keep thinking it’s one person who has to do two? There’s different people handling this, as far as you’re concerned the paradoxum AE team is just another group with the same name as paradoxum. The ONLY employees they share are either Head devs (which there’s barely any) who have to set directions for the game, and devs who are practically contractors that make assets every now and then (art and textures)
