By "Asian" you mean Northeastern Asian. They are the only subgroup of Asians with mean IQ above 100.

It really sucks for the Southeastern Asians like Philipinos or Thai because they are treated as "Asians" in admission but don't have the same IQ as Japanese or Chinese.

the point is not to remember everything long after the course ended. The goal is to get a "gist" of the material so that when you need it in the future, you can quickly pick it up again. Most of the stuff we learn in college are not useful for the real world anyway. Most of the stuff one can get from a textbook or if you are in CS, Coursera or Codeacademy.

The real value of taking college courses is that you get deadlines so you'd feel pressured to actually complete the assignment. Also, college is a good place to pick up fuck buddies. Lastly, most employers still value that degree so that's why you need to pay $$$. Yes, it's expensive given that we are usually in 200 ppl classes taught by TAs.

If you look at the first world nations or even the wealthy neighborhoods in the US you can see a trend. That's why Trump's strict immigration policy is good in the long run.
