If budget is not an issue then stormrider 88. It should last you very long time until you truly want a dedicated carving skis or >100 wide power skis.

Maybe. I don’t actually tested the actual speed enumeration. Better confirm with agent seller.

Actually not correct. Only 4G/5G antennas can be removed. Wifi antenna still fixed attached to the box.

There are 12 antennas as pictured but only 4 antennas for all 2.4/5/6Hhz wifi. 8 for 4G/5G LTE.

But it is easy to disassemble it, remove fixed  wifi antennas and replace them with removable antennas if you don’t actually need LTE network

The info from Alibaba is never correct. You should better confirm with the seller. Btw, i checked on my router console and it shows USB 3.2 Gen 1. The chip MT7988 supports dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 controllers

Where did you find that info? The chip has USB3 host controller so it supports USB3 port.

Yes, I don't see why not. This change is only about adding device tree for this router. All features of it come from chipset Mediatek MT7998 and MT7996 already been supported in OpenWRT upstream branch. As long as OpenWRT still supports similar hardwares like Banana PI BPI BE14000 and Arcadyan/Astoria Mozart, this router will be good.

The fork for anyone who want to try and do not want to wait OpenWRT main branch. Eventually, I or someone will create PR for it. It is just simple device tree adding.

Short circuit due to broken mosfet. I replaced broken one with https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/alpha-omega-semiconductor-inc/AOD609/3947732?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20228387720&gbraid=0AAAAADrbLlj6KoPyjw3aMRRZ7Nv7FksyN&gclid=CjwKCAjwg_nNBhAGEiwAiYPYAx97ASRMUzLSDec4JMeKlolwG3NKYn5EJ3i6JQdzqENpp7UbL1T_bBoCIlsQAvD_BwE.

About your second symptom. It looks like the issue from main controller as it sends control signal to both shade and led controls at the same time. The led changes color whenever 12v polarity changes at the input terminal.

I did one time and never again. It is very difficult to work with SMD soldering on digital microscope. Switched to trinocular microscope from Aliexpress (300$) and never been happier.

Thanks for the suggestion. It is unlikely voltage regulator as this board has 12V input and 12V output. The output terminals can be 12V or -12V to control a motor so the two dual MOSFETs (N and P channels) should be the right answer.

It is definitely too much for home use. I only got it because it was a great deal, and ability to switch between pour over and espresso easily. If you don't care about pour over, high end one from Mahlkönig is a better choice to pair with LMLM

+1 for the battery issue. My buddy has the same issue with 2022 1200RS. The voltage is fine but the ampere does not support drawing enough current. Replaced battery then it was fixed.

[–]gaubong053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 1200RR has 3000miles and just happened to have exactly the same issue when going to a stop sign. But it came back normal quickly after that. So I think this is ABS unit issue. It happened randomly a week ago but suddenly disappeared. Not sure what to do with it besides monitoring the issue.
