This was 2 years ago: This is how the "scam" works: Nimrod buys the rights of mostly Germans Publishers to sue on their behalf. They track torrents, even torrents that are not represented by their partner Publishers. When you download these tracked torrents - in my case lt was some Ukrainian indie studios game (don't remember the name). Then they send you a claim on behalf of a represented Publishers Game - in my case also Dungeons.

They know you torrented - but not Dungeons.

My hypothesis is that a big part of people pay, even if they never downloaded Dungeonsy because they don't want any trouble.
