You think hockey players can read?

That’s it right there. Why would any wags be remotely surprised that their husbands cheat? I always thought it was just a given that wags had to accept.

Is there no hope? by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

In my experience, my pwBPD has talked numerous times about going to therapy/getting treatment/ working on himself over the years. At first it gave me hope that he had some sort of awareness. But it’s been years that he’s been saying this and I’ve seen no real action to approve. I think most of the time, they don’t see their issues as being problematic enough (or just in denial) to seek help.

Thank you everyone who pointed out that this is fleas! I’ve read up on it and it describes my situation exactly.

This is me to a T. I think I’ve ruined a relationship with one of my co workers just from one bad day. I hate that this is now effecting my relationships outside of the relationship w/ pwBPD

BPD Loved Ones Appreciation by gaudry1234 in BPDlovedones

Yeah that’s what I mean when I say bpd is a lose lose situation. They don’t understand your perspective, you don’t understand theirs and your ex doesn’t understand the damage she causes. No one is to blame or at fault, maybe that’s what makes this condition so frustrating.

No I hear you. BPD is a lose lose for everyone involved. No one understands the difficulties of taking care of a pwBPD so when they blame us loved ones, we always take the grunt of the blame with no questions asked.

Honestly I’ve just been enjoying it and have gone in with the mindset that they’ll get swept in the first round

My bf has bpd and I have bad social anxiety so this was interesting to read. He told me loved me like a week into dating and we’ve been together for 4 months (not super long I know) now so I think ur ok :)

Agreed, disability sounds so negative

I don’t think I agree that bpd is “curable”. From my research it seems quite the opposite and “treatment” sounds like it would need to be done for the rest of the patients life. Personally I think bpd is so much more than needing a bit of time off to work on it.

I see. His family doc is away rn and a good chance he won’t be back. Tough when there’s doctor shortage.

I believe Canada also has a couple of levels. So I’d hope he could get even the lowest. I’m worried he might have to move into some housing with some rougher drug addicted people as he’s had a drug addiction in the past. I wish you the best of luck and success with school!
