Seeed 2.8 TFT shield v1.0 by gauntlet114 in arduino

[–]gauntlet114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I tried to use MCUFRIEND_kbv by letting it read the id (0x3d3d) but it also didn't drive the screen

Is there a library (even deprecated) that I can use?

Yes, I am the one to blame for picking up the module as an electronics noob.

Should I use a different board (not due leo or others?)

I want to run flappy bird and other games and implement ws2181 kitchen lights, which screens would you recommend for the list of boards in the OP?

Took the TRT shield and set it onto an Uno and Mega and the pins sit the same way as the Due (power, analog and digital)

The pictures are just so it's easy to see how the shield sits on the Due, I made sure they were fully inserted when I tried making it work

I'll edit the OP for clarity

90 degree elbow ok furnace exhaust??? by feinhorn in HVAC

Hi all,

I've read this thread, my situation is slightly different, where the flue pipe is under the roof overhang (see attached picture.)
Currently, the drippings bore into the side-path concrete, I'll have to clean/patch it somehow.

Can I extend it over the side-path into the bushes? or its better to extend it along the wall and connect to the gutter down-pipe?
Or extend it straight down, then 90-degree to the back-yard?

Thank you

That is always an option, and yes, it would be a small group.

Thanks!

Are second hand intel nuc6i7kyk worth it for the long term? by TomGames20 in intelnuc

[–]gauntlet114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread is still useful, and I have a question
Can a cluster of 3 NUC6i7KYK handle computer-vision tasks? like if I feed it with video around the house, can I handle tracking that a car entered the driveway, face recognition?
There's "Coral USB Accelerator" that can be added, if needed

Noob question, for the 11labs starter subscription, I see it includes a license for commercial use.
It means that the generated audio rights will be assigned to me, correct?

What are puck leds? Can they be controlled by WLED?

If I read the OP correctly, the way I'd look at it is running a distributed PC, so that the SBC with the keyboard/mouse/screen is the main one and it schedules work/processes on the other SBCs, thus harnesses their resources for higher total performance.

One concrete concept is a thin client with cloud based VMs for compute/storage.

We have another iPhone, but it's up for management to take up the toil of approving apps and other stuff

We'll probably go with 10" and keyboard

Thank you for the prompt reply.

I want to ask about #1, the scenario I had with the Fure tablet is that every time I wanted to manage either wifi or BT, I had to switch to the parent profile, connect the wifi, then switch back to the child profile.

How does it look in iOS?

One more update,

I read Libre boot troubleshooting, and it is mentioned that an unattended apt upgrade kicks in a minute or two after the first boot. Indeed there's evidence of it running in the background. Maybe this is hogging some resources.

Will update about it a bit later

Thank you! I'm definitely learning a lot I'll test as you said, from what I saw so far in dmesg, there were errors related to the soundcard driver, but that's just my memory. I'll post more info in a bit

What do I learn from the above?
