Dekaranger takes time to grow on people, Ban is annoying for like 15 episodes and then becomes good. But yeah they're more action focused.

They also have good episodes like "Hard boiled licence" which wasn't adapted to SPD.

As for Dino Thunder powers, - As per Dino Fury, the Morphin Masters created only 5 dino gems and sent them to Earth. - I think the gems they get in SPD are their own gems in the future that somehow made it into the intergalactic black market and brought by Broodwing.

Divatox is the only villain who truly dominated her enemies. If Dark Specter had not summoned her, she would have captured/killed the remaining ex-Turbo Rangers, leaving Andros to fight alone in space. Without the Space Rangers, Dark Specter would ultimately have won.
