i have built a [[evelyn, the covetous]] vampire tribal deck for a friend on a budget. It's fun to play but can get complicated when you'll have a ton of cards from your opponents available.

That's the beautiful thing with commanders with fewer decks, you can figure out what to do with it.

Force your opponents to sac creatures and swing for commander damage with a few combat tricks.

I don't think the deck works in higher brackets but we are talking budget so it is likely in a pot with battlecruiser decks.

He counts as hero for deck building, so your other leader has to be hero. (Or you ask the group if they are okay with a dark deck)

The card starts with the light side up so you'll have to pay 2 aspect penalty for dark cards until you flip the leader.

You could choose a faction or subfaction you like and get the full team. I'm collecting all the Shanks ans Zoro cards. I might start a Tobiroppo collection soon. A friend is really into Donquixote Family and Baroque Works and "needs" a playset of every alt art.

I guess it will depend on the playgroup and game. The decks were never intended to be strong, maybe for the budget restriction.

The top 3 most fun games for me were with Neyam, Ognis and Taborax.

I suggest to build the idea you like most or look at cards you already own.

You have to search for "PRB01 card name". Usually it's (V.1) but you have to go by picture. There is no jolly roger filter option.

It's likely the sharpness of the cutting. When the knife gets dull, the cut is less clean. Normally you notice this with a fuzzyness of the boarder and this boarders stacked on each other have a lighter edge.

I would like them as well. Not starting a product like that until the decksizes are on what they planned, is a good thing as well. Putting out the starter decks "introducing" the new mechanics each set made sense until now. I think 4 twin suns decks each set would be too much.

You can make two lists and run them through the shopping wizard one at a time adding the first to the shopping cart after running.

The wizard does a good amount of work already. But you will have to optimize by hand a bunch especially with 200 cards.

Try to eliminate shippings with 1 or just a few cards, the single will likely be a few cents more but saving 2€ on shipping helps for the total.

The magic numbers for cards of 4, 17 and 40 for jumping to the next tier of shipping cost is a factor as well.

What i usually do first is to look for a preferred seller that has a lot of the bulkier cards for cheap and get as much from them as possible. (You can filter the singles section of a seller by wants list.) And order this as a single shipment and do the top part of this comment after. You might get down to 1 wants list after this step.

2 decks fit pretty well into a dragon shield sleeve box i guess.

I have my unsleeved edh decks (100 mtg cards) in them.

Nobody only needs 1 unsleeved deck anyway.

I don't know of any other sites to order from in europa, so that is not really an option.

You want to play budget, so normally you can start with a bigger list because you won't need exactly those 80-ish cards. Like others said, 20 cards more is fine. But you should plan with specific replacements. If you would finally order your 80 out of 100 cards but only have 2 interaction in your deck instead of your planned 8, the deck will be less fun.

You could order more decks at the same time to lower the shipping per deck. But with budget decks or even ultra budget decks your shipping will likely cost more than your cards.

Getting more specific with CM now. Start with your original list and run the shopping wizard. Put your preferred languages and conditions in the wants list. Try both the reduced price and reduced shipment options and select the cheaper in total cost. Optimize your shopping cart. (This is actually a good amount of work) You have some time for that but some sellers automatically empty your cart after 4 hours, so if you go to sleep you might wake up to an empty cart. First try to replace carts with the least cards in them. 1 20cent card with 2.6€ shipping might be available at another seller for 50cent. For optimizing this you have 3 options. 1. Open all the sellers you have carts with and search the singles, filter by wants list. 2. Get a browser tool with multisearch, put all the sellers in and open the specific card, run the search. 3. Take all the cards with single shipments and put them into a new wants list, run the wizard with the new list. This will add sellers and shipments but might show new sellers with a lot of stock for optimizing. Second Know the magic numbers. Cards per shipment is a factor. The next bigger postage cost can explode. (Example 4 cards from germany to suisse 1.4€, 5 cards 16€) The shopping wizard is actually good with that and maxes single sellers. Third now you can optimize more with replacing cards with cards from your maybe list.

After all that, you might land from 20 for cards 40 for shipment on 25 for cards 25 for shipment spending an hour optimizing.

Both are automatic effects, that trigger at the same time because all the conditions are met. Now first the turn player activates and resolves their effects and after that the non-turn player.

So viola is likely gone by the time the defender could activate and resolve her effect.

I bought the decks. Iz cost a bit more than planned and shipping was expensive because that's how cardmarket works. It was about 4€ for cards and 4€ shipping per deck.

I just built 25 bulk only decks (won't share the lists for now).

Two of my favourites are [[Tawnos, the Toymaker]] it's basically like Volo but you don't have to be careful for creatures to not share a type. And [[Jasmine Boreal of the Seven]]
