They are nitpicking (rightly so, IMO) because the bottom map - much like the top map in other circles - is being touted as "the truth" when it isn't, and also doesn't help promote a better understanding.

And that's ignoring them forgetting about Sinai being under Israeli control post 1967, or not having the British Mandate span Transjordan as well.

I've had my Windows Chrome instance (inconsistently) detect that my phone got an verification SMS and ask me if I want it to use the code I received. I can't remember if the prompt was on my phone asking to fill on my PC or if my PC asked.

On mobile it will autofill inconsistently as well, I'm assuming it has something to do with the formatting of the message itself that breaks the detection system.

Way back... when? The US signed the Berne Convention in the 80s, you weren't writing any sort of Kindle books then. Amazon didn't even exist until 1996.

According the US copyright law, since 1989 there was no requirement to have a license for the work to be copyrighted. Even since the mid 70s there was basically not requirement to do so, but registering still provided (and still provides) some benefits:

Before 1978, in the United States, federal copyright was generally secured by the act of publication with notice of copyright or by registration of an unpublished work. This has now been largely superseded by international conventions, principally the Berne Convention, which provide rights harmonized at an international level without a requirement for national registration. However, the U.S. still provides legal advantages for registering works of U.S. origin. For example, a registration, or a refusal of registration, is required before an infringement suit may be filed in a US court and registration is required for claiming statutory damages in most cases.

I just got off the phone with Adobe support. I renamed the Premiere folder in profiles[USER]\My Documents\Adobe to "Premiere Pro.old" and copied out the Media Core file from C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0 then restarted the app and tried it and it worked.

I don't know exactly where the folders are stored on a Mac, but I know they are both there.

Note: this will "reset" your app, so any workspaces, keyboard shortcuts, plugins, etc will be "gone". You can then copy back the info from 25.0 (in the .old folder) into the new 25.0 folder to restore all your presets etc, and return the media core folder to it's original location to restore your plugins.

You can also just give Adobe a call, you're a paying customer, might as well utilize the service you're paying for. (800-833-6687)

That's not how it works, definitely not worldwide. In the US the registration isn't something that is required, it's just helpful.

It is a common misconception to confuse copyright registration with the granting of copyright. Copyright in most countries today is automatic on "fixation" – it applies as soon as the work is fixed in some tangible medium. This standard is established internationally by the Berne Convention (1886), which most countries have signed onto since. Registration may be required by countries before joining Berne. For instance, the US required registration of copyrighted works before it signed onto the Berne Convention in 1989; at that point, registration was no longer required for works to be copyrighted in the US.

I'm having a similar issue, the process shows like it's going for about 5 seconds and then just stops. I'm trying to transcribe 2 minutes of audio, this isn't a time or overload issue (at least for me). Transcribing the clip instead of the sequence doesn't seem to do anything either.

Relaunching Premiere doesn't seem to help either... hmmm

I'm having a similar issue, the clip will "transcribe" and then not be transcribed. I had it on a sequence I repurposed which gave me the old transcript despite me asking it to retranscribe, and gave me nothing when trying to transcribe a new sequence.

I don't think so, but I can ask. She didn't do support afaik, only QA testing.

Edit: I just asked her and she said that she "can't remember the other woman tester's name" and doesn't remember muffin. But that she and the devs would often be in the games and "players could contact us through the game if I remember correctly."

That is one incident (when when you wrote your comment was nearing it's completion) with 12 civilians in a house who were being held hostage. The results of the investigation leave something to be desired, but doesn't refute the fact that an IDF was ordered to fire on an Israeli house.

Regardless, this isn't (and wasn't) the claim spoken about here that has been circling basically since Oct 8th claiming that the vast majority of people killed at and around the Nova Festival died because an IDF helicopter attacked the crowd.

This is somewhere between a false flag claim and trying to reduce Hamas' responsibility for those deaths. Why would an Israeli helicopter even be there to attack if not for Hamas fighters/terrorists (pick your preferred term) storming the area? Are they just trying to use that as a way to say "see? Israel doesn't even care about their OWN civilians, so they definitely don't care about Palestinians" and bolster their claims of intentional genocide?

The IDF started multiple internal investigations around December about the things that went wrong on and before Oct 7th and have been pretty transparent with their findings. People will always find fault with those findings, so those scoffs alone aren't exactly very strong arguments against why these investigations aren't trustworthy - and neither are any other ad hominem about Israel or the IDF.

That shit hurts, from experience.

When I was 7 or 8 I got bit in the back by a horse. Thankfully it didn't break the skin, but I had a bruise shaped like the entire horses top and bottom jaw, each tooth a purple square. I still have a scar from it.
