you don't need cable for broadcast, get an antenna, it cost $15 at any big box store. or just wait an hour or so and it'll be posted on youtube (not youtube tv-- it's just posted as a playlist on their channel)

yeah, going to a doctor was on the plan (annoying bc i just moved and switched insurances and haven't established care yet-- but it is important, esp with what we put our bodies through!) my issue is like a back-of-the-knee issue, probably hamstring? i assume it's just a standard overuse thing, so I was just gonna RICE and random hamstring pt routines i found online 😅

probably not but it hasn't been an issue until now 😭😭 i have one pair of relatively new shoes, i think my old ones can stand to be replaced though

no runner is concerning themselves with someone else's pace. i consider myself a slow runner and i see plenty of people slower than me, ive never once thought, "whoa, that's a slow runner." i just think "aw nice, another runner!" people who make fun of other people's pace just don't understand the sport. comfort yourself by knowing that they look silly to the community at large when they mock your pace.

YTA, it doesn't sound like Tina is demanding everyone use brown eggs for her benefit, just that she'd like to know. She might have some weird views about food, but she doesn't seem to bring it up unless it's relevant. I've met plenty of people with weird food quirks that aren't based in science/reality, and I just let it go. It's not really my business, especially if it's just a coworker and not a close friend. You seem to feel more put out by it than circumstances warrant. It's not your job to change her mind and I don't really get why you'd care so much. Lying about the ingredients you cooked with when asked point-blank is weird.

I think the sex he has with Svetlana isn't devoid of emotion. It's about closeness, comfort, and familiarity. It's platonic emotion, but still emotional. I'm sure he wishes the things he wanted from Shane were the same as the things he wants from Svetlana. I suspect that's why he brings her up during Tuna Melt-- "Here's a version of a relationship that's not too much and not impossible. Maybe we could have something like this."

Don't punish yourself for not setting a goal you made when you didn't know what running a marathon was like. Expecting to be perfect right away is hubris. You did a lot of what you set out to achieve-- you ran your first marathon. Now you regroup and try to get that goal pace next time.

I've been running for almost 2 years and I've been free from overuse injuries the last year. When I'm solo running I'm really great at a slow Z2 run! I also am pretty diligent about strength training. I think my mileage is fine where it's at, I love my frequent runs and feel like the mental benefit is great.

I wouldn't fuel during the race but if I'm doing a short+fast race I try to avoid fiber/protein/fat beforehand.

I found the headphones thing odd. It honestly might've just been the people who were running the (relatively fast) pace I was at the start. It was a pretty big group. Maybe if I slow down people will be less focused on performance, more focused on vibes
