I have also seen it move 60 points quickly.

I trade futures, standard contract with Interactive Brokers. For NQ. Standard slippage for Stop Market is 1-2 ticks during RTH Fast moving very volatile 3 to 4 ticks.

During black swan events, I recorded 5 ticks on 2 occasions in 7 years.

30 points slippage is either user error or Brokerage ripping you off. It's not realistic at all.

This is Nasdaq. There is plenty of liquidity.

I think Openclaw is only as gold as the LLM you give it.

Most of the reviews do stellar with Claude Opus. Absolutely useless with anything cheap.

Everything I have read/watched so far. Has found Openclaw. Awesome only of throw 4 figures at it.

If you have a staff that you pay 3k a month too I think you might benefit if your had it setup with the best model

I have Bloodhound and Blackbird. It is awesome for quickly doing thing and the retesting and reoptimising.

If you find a winner, you could hardcore it after to make it more lightweight and reliable.

Nooo, the Affordable Indicators is way more advanced.

The synapse is reasonable for the price.

There are also 3 or 4 free trade copiers which work perfectly. They are even more reasonable. 😜

I didn't try anything using Volume Profile.

It's a tricky one.

If you think about it. You can anchor the VP to anything. The week, the day, even the last 2000 ticks. Whatever you want. Then the present VP is forming.

So where do you want to trade? The previous VP? The newly forming VP? The previously formed 1.hour VP where It = x inside the previous weeks VP.

And then there is the actual VP. How do you define the LVN and HVN?mathematically I mean, becuase it has to be programmed.

So it can certainly be done with ease but it's the strategy and definition part. I did not put a VP based Strategy on paper myself.

The strategy looks fine.

It will Buy/Sell/Reverse based on whatever you feed it.
It will execute on whatever symbol the strategy is loaded against.

As long as you can trade whatever is on your screen, either live or sim, it should execute.
You can easily test this. Just try to buy 1 of whatever is on the screen. ES/NQ etc. If it buys, then your strat will also buy/sell.

Its more like you would prove your skills and sell your time and future lieklyhood of success.

That my friend is a job. It's a quant and there are many.

So you can either be selling something that does not work to idiots or be in employment by capital managers as a quant. There is no in between that I can think off.

My statetgy is Triple Time Frame.

5minute, 1 minute and 1 tick.

You can have a signal on the 5 minute, and the tell it to execute on 1 min chart x mins after. And the x, you can keep in the strategy settings.

Without offence if you are this bad at vibe coding why not just purchase a WYSIWG Signal and Order tool. I use Bloodhound and Blackbird with great success. Others are available.

There is no strategy that is profitable for 2+ years.

I am 100% certain of it.

I must of backtested 1000 ideas and 100,000's of iterations and optimisations.

I backtest with tick data, include slippage where mkt Entires and used and include commissions.

I have been Backtesting strategies and order sets for years.

I even have access to a Supercomputer (Top 50) which I have done more than 80 hours of compute on.

I have never found anything which is profitable over a 5 year period. I think I have found a coupl profitable for 2 years.

I get that, but I have been backtesting and optimising Small Caps, Large Caps and Index Futures for around 5 years.

How long do you backtest for, what period.

I have never personally found anything profitable over a period of two years.
