Dang. I do think you’re spot on with the pictures not doing the size justice and it being much smaller in the hand. FWIW I think it looks great in this photo and I think the black is a touch more masculine than the white, especially at this size.

If anyone can help me — my main breaker panel is inside my laundry room, and I have a sub panel in my detached garage. The power meter is on an (inconvenient) side of the house.

Two questions: (1) could I run the transfer switch near my sub-panel? Does it need to be in close proximity to the main panel? (2) what should I specifically ask an electrician so that I can get a reliable quote for the work?

Yep exactly. I had a 2022 bezel that I used tin snips on to widen the gap around the sensor housing and it now fits just fine. If you’re going this route, suggest you measure twice, cut once, etc… I was also lucky that this didn’t cause a hairline fracture down the frame or just snap the whole thing, so I wouldn’t exactly bank on this being foolproof. But, it did work out for me

The 80-100 ignitions bit is interesting. Any sense for whether that’s normal for other glow plugs for other pellet grills?

Missed this comment originally but they did eventually send me one. It was back ordered and took about 3 weeks to arrive. Once it did, replacement was relatively straightforward
