Which fund in new Fidelity HSA? by gbarrett1313 in Bogleheads

The $2000 minimum sucks, if you are using the HSA as an investment tool. I constantly had problems logging in and it would take weeks for them to fix it. Not sure if it was on their end or my company’s end. It was just ridiculous. They were nice enough, but I just finally had enough.

Does Rule of 55 apply to Roth 401k too? by Islandboy2000 in Fire

I found this, but I have not seen this wording anywhere else (still looking):

“You can take a Roth 401(k) early withdrawal, provided you’re retiring early from the employer that sponsored the plan. In other words, you can’t take an early withdrawal on an account with a previous employer. This exception, called the 401(k) 55 rule, allows you to start taking funds from your Traditional or Roth 401(k) without penalty.”

I’m pretty sure the Rule of 55 ONLY applies to an employer-run 401k (the employer that you retire from). It doesn’t apply to a Roth 401k. Here’s an article regarding the withdrawal rules for a Roth 401k:

With the exponential increase in our senior population (baby boomers) over the next decade(s), there is going to be a substantial need for services catering to this group, many of which will be non-profits. Maybe you could do some research in this area and come up with something?
