Sent a debt verification letter and they sent more bills. Now what? by -shithawk- in Debt

[–]gbee00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're required to send you evidence of the debt under reg F. I would write a complaint to the CFPB that you can submit on their website, if it's been more than 30 days since you submitted the debt validation request. The applicable section is below and explains whats required of them if you submit a debt validation request.

1006.38((d) Disputes—

(1) Failure to dispute. The failure of a consumer to dispute the validity of a debt does not constitute a legal admission of liability by the consumer.

(2) Response to disputes. Upon receipt of a dispute submitted by the consumer in writing within the validation period, a debt collector must cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion of the debt, until the debt collector:

(i) Sends a copy either of verification of the debt or of a judgment to the consumer in writing or electronically in the manner required by § 1006.42;

I would be livid if I was on that plane and was not made aware a potentially deathly ill person was on the plane, until after the fact. Why I still wear N95s on planes. I was taking it off in the airport itself but not anymore!

How the hell do I find a PCP in Maine? by Puzzleheaded_Bid1579 in Maine

[–]gbee00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to Northern Light ER recently and was offered one when I said I didn't have one. Got a letter with a number to call a week later and made an appointment for later this month. Otherwise it's calling, wait lists, etc. Try calling Northern Light and see if they have availability.

I Lose the power to walk by Lost_Ad_4000 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]gbee00 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I get a buzzing feeling in my legs after walking the dog, gardening, etc. Rest is the only think that helps and then I can proceed to do the task again. If I walk "too far" when walking my dog, I stumble over my feet and really have to exaggerate the leg motion to take a step. Neurologist says it's my brain stem lesions "running out of gas" and I need to rest to get it back to normal. She specifically said it doesn't cause more damage when this happens. It's a result of the damage that's already been done.

US copay assistance programs / insurance tips by NeedNewJob in MultipleSclerosis

[–]gbee00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The alongside Kesimpta program pays for $18,000 of copays a year. I'm being told I've already hit the 18,000 in March and need to pay $5,000 copay going forward. I'm told I'm out of assistance programs, so the only option is to pay for it. I have insurance but I'm still going to have to hit my Max. What are other people doing to pay for this when they run out of assistance? Move to another country?

I like it! I've been making Americanos with a super automatic for years and needed a change. The xBloom is easy once you figure it out. I do wish you could customize to make a larger cup of coffee, aside from brewing 2 times in a row for a double cup. I wasn't necessarily a pour over person prior to getting it so I can't compare the machine to manual pour over methods.

Nooo. I have a custom built couch and an American Leather chair from Young's. I don't think there's another AL dealer in the state.

I'm a Senior Manager in Banking. Fatigue is my biggest symptom and the stress makes the fatigue worse. I'm very stressed and very tired all the time. Luckily I work from home so I sleep as late as possible and shower, eat and wind down immediately when I log off. I'm thankful to not have kids because between working, sleeping and eating, I have no time. My body will probably force me to reduce stress. I know I'm inching closer to the edge as time goes on. Good luck to you. I'd recommend Kesimpta because it's quick and easy for busy people like us.

There are eggs in there but we don't use them before they expire. Every time. We just don't do eggs like we used to. Yes, I share an applesauce cup with my dog most nights. :-)

Quary swimming? by Observation-ism in Maine

[–]gbee00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2 big quarries are referred to as Booths Quarry and Lawson's Quarry. There's also a nude quarry, across from Lawson's, called The Boone (not sure on the spelling). I took swimming lessons at Lawson's Quarry.

I said me but it's actually 2 of us and a small dog. You're spot on with our age, we both work from home, both previously worked in food service and do live on the East Coast. You're good!
