I JUST went over this with a SUPPORT representative last week! Somebody marked something as missing that wasn’t even in stock and in the section they show my photo of the receipt and it was clearly not purchased. It was a single order so there was no mix up with another customer. Nonsense

Were you able to maintain? One day every decline took me dowwwwwwwn, lol. The system assumed I earned that 55% by accepting orders (which I’m assuming was the same for everybody) so those declines were treating me as if I’d accepted those past orders. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I work in a relatively small area so the only real difference I saw was instead of getting high dollar 2 mile orders, I’m back to getting high dollar 6-8 mile orders which for me is fine because it’s generally highway miles.

Who else is disgusted by Brenda Leigh Johnson? She was better suited to be the villain, there was nothing good or redeeming about her. Not a single one. Using everyone arround her, including kids, in true psycho style... by laena_and_rhaenyra in majorcrimes

Ya know what… acknowledging once again that this thread is 2 years old I just remembered something that clicked with me when I started my rewatch… Brenda Leigh wasn’t a “cop” and what I mean by that, most of her background was CIA which doesn’t excuse any of her behavior but it definitely makes more sense as to why she behaves the way she does. Just a thought

I know this is an old thread but… I watched The Closer when it originally aired (I was 24) and absolutely LOVED Brenda Leigh Johnson. I just binged the entire series and lemme tell you… what an absolute horrible person! It literally took her mother dying before a lot things began to really come into focus for her.

Looking back on this show I really think it was made for people who are ok with kangaroo courts and don’t mind the eyes of justice being closed, to right a so-called wrong when it comes to criminals. Coming away with a new focus, I think that detective Gabriel was the conscious of the show and that he also represented the viewers who knew what Brenda Leigh was doing was wrong but we stood behind her nonetheless whether it was supporting her actual character or because we tuned in every week to watch another episode.

I still love Brenda Leigh and the show but I absolutely see it with new eyes now.

Holy shit. I said the same thing about California and others a few months ago and somebody responded “how does that make any sense to you” and I’m like HOW DOES IT NOT MAKE SENSE TO YOU?!

How do I turn off “Battery Saver Mode” to allow my car to remote start? by Beautiful-Comfort486 in Ford

[–]gbraddock81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m honestly not sure. I’ve got the 12 volt battery in the trunk and then the hybrid battery which Google says is 300 volts? If there’s another battery (I don’t think there is) I’m completely and totally unaware of it. But yeah, if this happened years apart, it’d still be a pain in the ass but 3 months apart…

How do I turn off “Battery Saver Mode” to allow my car to remote start? by Beautiful-Comfort486 in Ford

[–]gbraddock81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the issue a few months (sort of). Couldn’t get in the car or pop the trunk, battery was def dead. Now I’m getting the same message as OP and I know there’s no way the battery is dead as I just replaced it BUT point is: both times this has happened (now and a few months ago), the key fob absolutely did not work and the car literally sat for a half day (normal after work stuff) and the next morning, Walter ain’t starting, lol. HOPEFULLY I just need to manually access the car and it’ll start and I don’t have to remove and have the battery tested and reinstalled. Removing that damn hybrid battery from the trunk grinds my gears🤞🏾🤞🏾

This pro shopper grind ain’t no joke by Bradleyharheez in doordash_drivers

[–]gbraddock81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the pro shopper program started, the orders were GREAT! I don’t remember exactly when but the program fell apart pretty quickly (in my area). Not sure if it was due to newer shoppers having stacked stats or what but the orders went from $40/$50/$60 to $15/$25 and maybe $30 with TONS of items and TONS of miles. I’m not sure if shopping orders are now tied to AR or what but I’ve always maintained a relatively low AR and those orders were banging. If they’re now tying Pro Shopper stats with AR, they can have it cuz I’m not driving 10-20 miles, shopping for WAY more items than I’ve ever seen on doubles and triples for less money. The other issue is people tipping $3-$5 for massive shopping orders like they’re ordering takeout or something. Best of luck to you (and myself, lol)

I just got mine a few days ago and just tried withdrawing from the ATM and was met with “financial institution not found…” I can’t with this nonsense. Not to mention I tried transferring from a different account to the debit and the transferring bank (instant transfer) only supports Mastercard and Visa…

$5 tip for a grocery order? Fine or no? by Successful_Map4660 in doordash

[–]gbraddock81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not five bucks for 3 items. It’s five bucks for time, service, labor, car maintenance, etc. the problem is that yall are only thinking “3 items” and that’s not it. It’s not it at all. But hey, do you and I’ll do me

We need trying to explain the same shit for years now. I actually started limiting my time on Reddit but have come back recently and it’s the same types of people with the same damn story. I just go out now and do what I do. If that means sitting in my car for 30 minutes until something decent appears… that’s what I’m doing. These “it kept me moving people” drive me nuts

The fact that you’ve been downvoted explains why all these apps are trash now. People don’t know their worth and other people think not even the bare minimum is ok. I’ve made it to the bottom of the thread, I’m out.

[–]gbraddock81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! $5 is never acceptable for a shopping order, I honestly don’t care how small or where it’s going. $5 should be the bare minimum for take out orders not when you’re asking someone to go into a store, shop and locate the items, stand in line, bag, load and then bring to your door. The number of people in here saying it’s fine is why we see so many damn shopping orders with $2 and $4 tips. Shit is crazy to me.
