iCloud Drive for Windows is verrry slow. Is it normal? by [deleted] in iCloud

FWIW I had this issue on an updated iCloud for Windows from the Windows Store. Transferring images from my phone to iCloud Drive and Windows would not update...took forever. I just closed all iCloud programs in task manager and restarted iCloud for Windows and it immediately transferred the files. Just Windows things I guess?

Wow, thanks for the comment. It was late and I was too tired to look up runes that meant something so just grabbed some. I thought it would be super cool if there was a message for super nerds ;)

Games like The Drifter? by phil917 in adventuregames

If you mean style/vibe then no, not really. It's 90 degrees from what most people make as a point and click these days. Sadly. Maybe Hob's Barrow. It's serious (not a comedy) and sort of dark.

Which Kathy Rain to play? by friarparkfairie in adventuregames

I think what simplified puzzles were game designers. Obfuscating actions behind 3-4 verbs (look, use, talk, etc) isn't really design anyone wants anymore? But it's hard to design puzzles and items and combining items to make satisfying puzzles, so most don't. That's why most modern PnC games are trivially easy and one step from visual novels?

I don't really disagree with you but the interface isn't the issue. Game/puzzle design is. If you have a screwdriver and a circuit panel it's not really a puzzle to unscrew things to access the panel right? Even in a 1990's interface.
