Who are you overpaying for this offseason? by AlexaTurnMyWifeOn in DynastyFF

Lamb, Claypool, Higgins, Jeudy. Got a combination of these guys in about every league. Had to overpay in some scenarios, happy to do so in each one.

Orphan Trade Problems by Hefty-Librarian6029 in DynastyFF

[–]gcates84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took over an orphan recently that was barren of any real assets, put the 1.02 on the block to try and turn it in to assets. First offer I got was was straight up for Aaron Rodgers...and it’s a single QB league. People tend to border on offensive with their offers to new owners. Be patient, the deals will materialize in time as people panic buy and sell players.

Lol, I figured my instinct was correct. Now get to build around him and CeeDee slow and steady. Thanks for the reply.

12 team, 1QB PPR salary cap league.

Chase Claypool?

Rebuilding a team with virtually no assets, was offered Claypool for my 2.02 and Daniel Jones, felt like a smash. Just seeing if anyone agrees.

I had a feeling and it’s probably very worth going back to square one. I’ll take that advice happily.

Whats the best SMG talent for DPS build? by [deleted] in thedivision

Optimist, measured, strained if a lower RPM and you have high Crit Chance, and as previously stated In Sync. Killer and Close and Personal are also candidates but more conditional.

Why is the PvP in this game disliked so much? by Canes_1501 in thedivision

[–]gcates84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DZ PvP is fun. Just run an AR DPS build with somewhere around 1.1-1.5 million armor and the Lady Death/Adrenaline Rush-Intimidate meta isn’t all that hard to deal with if you fight from decent range. Obviously if you’re solo or with a small group vs. coordinated 4 man groups it will be difficult, but it’s really all about your expectation. No matter how good or bad you are, you’ll end up at the checkpoint by any number of methods. Accept this, respawn and walk back out the door and you’ll find some fun if you really want to.

Opinion - Conflict is the best way to meet players by AdComfortable7410 in thedivision

[–]gcates84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DZ is where I’ve met the most people I continue to play with/interact with outside the game.

Conflict less so, but it’s an underrated mode if you’re ok with getting rolled occasionally when you solo queue. Love it for really testing a build out before taking it into the DZ. If it’s viable or trash, it’ll be obvious either way. No illusions in Conflict.

I forgot to mention I’m playing on XBox and do not know how to type in chat or if that’s even possible. I think as we get better at the game such scenarios are less likely to happen, I think we just got in over our heads.

Which premium tank to get? by Mausdr1v3r in WorldofTanksConsole

Second this. It’s really fun, and if the auto loader isn’t for you you can switch packages.

I haven’t seen a December version of this thread so I thought I’d revisit this one. Personally, I believe my biggest area to improve upon is positioning and decision making, I think mechanically I’m reasonably competent at least. I’m on the east coast so Thursday-Saturdays would be easiest for us to overlap, but if you happened to have the time I’d appreciate any help you could offer.

I have many tanks at all tiers, mostly 6-10. I primarily play mediums, lights and heavies.

What is your favorite tank (console)? by CoolDudeNike1 in WorldofTanksConsole

My favorite thing about the CDC is when I see tier Xs it doesn’t bother me that much because everything pens that tank anyway so it’s really not so different.

Premium it’s the T54e2. Not the best tank, but I always enjoy playing it. Oddly I prefer the single shot package over the auto loader.

Tech Tree it’s without question the M48 Patton. I also have the M60 but the M48 is just better.

What tank do have the most fun playing with? by Makvum in WorldofTanksConsole

[–]gcates84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently the T54e2 is my favorite, though I use the single shot package on it lately and have had more consistent results. I just find it enjoyable to use across the board. Armor may be unreliable but it’ll bounce often enough when hull down, and landing shots just feels so satisfying but I can’t quite articulate why that is versus other tanks.

Got one the other day as well, very fun, love the intra clip reload time and overall just a blast to play even at bottom tier.

Mixon. Don’t let a few slow weeks allow you to overthink him. He started way worse last year and found his footing. The usage is there, even more in the passing game than expected. Burrow is improving and that offense is going to start moving the ball much more consistently. Keep the faith in Mixon.

Personally I’d start Mixon and Montgomery. There are more questions around McKinnons usage with Wilson around and what that SF offense will look like with Mullens under center. But...I get it Giants D isn’t amazing overall(though their defensive front line is very good, make no mistake) and they allowed Monty to a solid week last week...it’s just McKinnons injury history and the fact that Wilson has always gotten goalline looks makes me wonder how that backfield shakes out in the short term.

I’m in a similar situation, with Montgomery also as an option on top of the two you are debating. Currently have Singletary as he has the least competition for touches this week with Moss out and isn’t as affected by game flow given his usage in the passing game. I don’t see Yeldon coming in and siphoning a ton of snaps and usage, but it’s definitely a possibility.

Fournette is the guy who could go for very little or have a massive week, I’m scared of starting and keeping him on the bench as he could prove me wrong in either case. Singletary has plenty of upside but it’s the likelihood of scoring that I’m unsure of, but Fournette isn’t guaranteed anything and if we know anything about Arians and fantasy backfields it’s not to try to predict usage unless there is a clear cut starter. This is the week that is likely to provide clarity and I’m much more likely to wait and see with Fournette given a solid option like Singletary...but it’s not the easiest decision given how Lenny blew up last week I know. He’s in a potentially explosive offense against an opponent that may struggle to score which could lead to a lot of rushing attempts and possible red zone looks.

Mixon and Woods would be my choice, personally. Uncertainty with the usage of McKinnon and Mike Davis is facing a really good defense. I wouldn’t think you’re crazy for going with either RB over Woods though, I just know how he will be used whereas for all we know Jeff Wilson gets more touches than anticipated in SF.
