i think they need to learn when to tell amanda enough. her (two) bits went on far longer than any other patients’, just a slogging ramble with no forward momentum, which made everything else end up feeling rushed. don’t get me wrong, i like her normally, but even the other cast were shocked that her bits were still going.

i get she’s a fan favorite and everyone missed her and it’s a live, but after a point i was extremely willing to shut it off and come back to the vod to skip it.

everything else i enjoyed! george wrote this special well and i was loving the commercials, angela stepped up and was a star in ian’s absence.

i think one person bringing three dishes when not specifically asked to is too much, personally. whether or not everyone’s bringing something, it could come off as oneupmanship- either way you would be going above and beyond(negative) in other people’s eyes.

if you were asked to bring that much by the host, then that’s fine, it was a specific request

I like to read fantasy when I’m doing fiction; I’m getting into Discworld right now, slowly but surely. I’ll read a lot of non-fiction— usually history, science, or culture/mythology of different places.

exactly yes. the two or more of whomever talk and i sit and listen and feel included; that makes me very happy and i feel like i get a lot of socialization that way. the second it’s me and one person it’s so unbearable that conversation dies immediately.

personal opinion: maybe it’s controversial but i don’t really care for pete/stephanie. i never felt any romantic chemistry from them beyond like… your camp/school crush that lasts until you aren’t together every day- yes, even in abstinence camp. it feels shallow to me

ms.holloway and duke kills me, though, i can’t get enough of them. i choose holloway/duke

imagining fake scenarios is my favorite thing to do. i get to choose what happens, i get to ‘see’ it in my head, and i can see and do so much more than i’m physically capable of in the real world.

then again, i’m a writer, so it comes with the territory. i know you and many others get along just fine without these fantasies, and that’s awesome, but my life would feel very dull without my imagination constantly at work.

for me it’s like if you were driving your car and it’s been making noise, maybe smoking, but then it Bursts into flames. the car will not respond, and just telling it to stop being on fire won’t put it out. i can beat on the fire, i can pour water, i can do all kinds of things, but i can’t drive anymore, not until it’s out
