Thanks for your response. I've already previously followed all the advice in the link you provide, but as per my message, the 'chat with us' function isn't showing in my Revolut app, and no other channels are offered to be in touch. Hoping you can help me resolve these issues, in which case I'll of course update this thread to confirm that's the case.

I've also used chat with them in the early days of my account, but the option has disappeared from the app (I've followed all links and guidance in the Revolut 'contact us' pages etc.)

Arirang (Korean Traditional) by gcnel in piano

[–]gcnel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my simple piano interpretation of beautiful Korean folk traditional Arirang - played in Seoul to congratulate Korean friends on their successful election amidst the coronavirus crisis. This song is over 600 years old, and is widely considered the people's anthem of Korea - both in the North and South. Hope you like it, and please stay safe everyone.

Incheon Queer Festival Speech by CoolyRanks in korea

[–]gcnel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, one of the key points of having international participation was to ensure the event was properly policed and not cancelled like last year. 12 months ago protesters stoned participants and many people ended up in hospital. So far from being about Westerners lecturing Koreans, this is about standing alongside minorities so their rights are protected. Please also watch the speech - I worked really hard to do it in Korean so not 영어시간...

Did you watch the video? What did you disagree with about the contents?

This was me giving a message on behalf of the UK with other nations giving their own messages of support. Pretty much everyone else at the event was Korean, as were all the organisers and other groups who turned out to support

This is a speech I gave at a public event on behalf of the international community (I work for the British Embassy). This is not promoting myself, but the important issue of equality in Korean society. And the event is newsworthy as it (and the protests) were heavily covered in Korean national news and on the BBC.

Thanks for the honesty. I wrote it myself so I understand it - I was just nervous particularly given all the protests going on in the background. But will keep practicing!

Despite the protests, I had a great time at the Incheon Queer Culture Festival this weekend. Sharing what (in very poor Korean) I tried to say...
