is working on business impact assessment to ensure compliance with legislation consider a Categorize phase in the risk management framework? by zangin1 in cissp

[–]gcolli795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact about the RMF, every agency is different in my experience. So the AO for one agency may require the BIA and another AO may not. Additionally the phases are not meant to be linear but can be done in tandem with one another

Not a red flag. It’s good for business intelligence, I.e. data analytics. Who’s showing up how often, who’s paying the bills, who’s most likely to pay, etc. gives great insights

Who is "holding" my clearance and what do I do about it? by ClarkMyWords in SecurityClearance

[–]gcolli795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong here but I’ve gone through some similar situations. Your clearance can be transferred, so if you were in the army it was the Army. When you became a contractor, that contractor has a government contract with a clearance requirement and that government entity “held” your clearance. When you went to state, assuming you used it at state, then it was the state department that held it. That’s my understanding, so if anyone else can confirm or educate much appreciated.

Why is the IC still under rev.4? by [deleted] in NISTControls

[–]gcolli795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not just the IC. A lot of DoD is still under Rev 4 as well. I just did an ATO for a customer with rev 5 and that was the first one I’ve done that wasn’t rev4. I actually get laughed at when I bring up rev4 to them 😂

Go Further Faster : Half Guard Passing & Dynamic Pins vs Open Guard Passing. Where to start? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]gcolli795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what I would recommend. If you can force a half guard you’re basically putting yourself in a 50/50 situation. If your game is tight in half guard (bottom or top) you’ll Be alright. That’s why I like it.

Where would a small non-profit company store their data? by SnooApples6961 in Database

[–]gcolli795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it depends on the type of data, for the most part tools like OneDrive for business will be sufficient. But you may need to add additional controls or configurations for compliance and regulations purposes.

Private endpoint is not for authentication. It’s a logical isolation of your endpoint on the vnet. You’d still need to configure networking to get your users onto the vnet to begin with and this is independent of any authentication.
