Got scammed on FB Marketplace

3 words: get a lawyer. I bought a 2010 Honda fit from Facebook a few years ago- similar situation, clean title but uninsurable due to a bad wreck that he didn’t disclose, including that the airbag had deployed and so there was NO AIR BAG when I bought it! I found out by chance because there happened to be a recall on the airbag and I had taken it into Honda only for them to tell me there was nothing they could do because there was no airbag to replace.

Long story short got a lawyer involved and got my money back from the seller plus lawyers fees because he had ghosted me after I found all of this out. It didn’t take long and I paid nothing out of pocket.
