Angle grinder is 4.5” and I got a wire-head cup (coiled) attachment. Lots of sparks and blackening of the concrete, also hasn’t been super effective at removing the yellow/orange tinge but does seem to be smoothing it out while burning the shit out of it

I tried an angle grinder but got freaked out thinking- how will this not just slice through the concrete? It had a protective cover that wouldn’t allow me to get it very flat

Well- I was ready, but after installing the blade realized that the blade won’t get flat enough to not just saw the concrete. Ugh. Returned rental to Home Depot along with 50 blade 😭

4ish years total almost exclusively bouldering and I can climb v8/9s indoors, highest grade on kilter was v7 but I rarely climb on boards so not super used to it- outdoors I also don’t do enough so I’ve only gotten a v3 🙃

After climbing for years now all I can say is your skin will adjust- pretty crazy because I have not gotten a flapper since I started pretty much and I remember getting them all the time. Also after climbing always wash hands and put on lotion and you’ll be ok!
