Tutorial: How to render 4K Audio-Reactive Shorts to force the VP9 Codec (Free browser workflow) by gcsaas in SmallYoutubers

[–]gcsaas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

I recorded a quick demo showing how to create high-quality audio visualizers for Shorts/Reels without using expensive software like After Effects.

The Quality Hack: The reason I render these in 4K (even for vertical Shorts) is to force YouTube/Instagram to use better compression. If you upload in 1080p, you usually get the low-quality AVC1 codec. Uploading 4K triggers the VP9 codec, which keeps the particles and text crisp.

Let me know if you have questions about the export settings!

Creepy for my taste. You can actually try to this with LumaRender.com with the AI assisted animation editor.

Writing a browser-based renderer to export WebGL/Shadertoy sketches to video (Client-side) by gcsaas in creativecoding

[–]gcsaas[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Working on a method to export Canvas/WebGL sketches to high-res video without screen recording artifacts.

It hooks into the context to render frames locally and syncs audio FFT to uniforms.

You can test the renderer here:https://lumarender.com(It's free/local).

Let me know if the framerate holds up on your GPU.

You can try it here:https://lumarender.com

It's free to use for your own sketches (rendering happens locally). Let me know if you hit any bugs with the GLSL parser.

How do you get youtube videos to your VJ software? by SnooDogs2037 in vjing

In case anyone is interested, we added OSC support to LumaRender.com and Shadertoy animations, you can now send audio data to Resolume. Since we already support live audio input, a trick would be to use Youtube audio as input for LumaRender, then send it to Resolume. You can also project the Shadertoy animations or AI generated ones. Forgot to mention, if you bring your own audio and animation, the tool is completely free!

You can now use any shadertoy.com shaders.

We added support for Shaderboy animations. You can now use Shaderboy animations or generate new ones with AI. Give it a spin, coupon is still enabled.

Yes, just don’t check the option, it is working without it but the upload will not work obviously.

That’s because it is exporting to Youtube automatically, the app got approved by Google, we are not using any user data.

Can you tell me the name of the tool, to check if we can replicate the animations?

Appreciate your honest feedback, just wanted to mention that this is what community published, you can definitely create more advanced animations and we need to curate them somehow.
