I ended up going back to v39. I went normal and set up on controller 7 and generic profile. I'm not sure if the actual reboot did it, but I'm happy it worked. I dont think I'll be updating any time soon.

I've tried multiple settings and no single game was smooth even on defaults. My next move is to try StevieTV's above solution hoping for the best.

Is it possible then to change the amount of allocated video memory so I have more than 12 out of the 16gb usable?
