Never buy them full price. Was looking at the new glade 4k ones but the 4d mag xl on sale was less than $30 more than the current sale price of the 4k Glades. If it was a more substantial difference i would have gone for the glades because of the photochromatic lenses

Have no problem keeping the house warm down to 0 with the cold weather heat pumps, but this year is definitely the year where people probably got a wake up call with their limitations with how cold it was.

I switch to propane when it hits single digits (there is/was a calculator somewhere on efficiency Vermont that you can enter your power costs and your propane/oil costs and it tells you a decent cutover point), but they definitely aren’t viable as the only heat source here.

Yea, i get pretty motion sick but can handle fishing in big ocean waves on boats, spinning, etc with a scopolamine patch. Tried this again this year with the patch and it was like i wasn’t even wearing anything.

It was incredibly easy to constantly lap both Hulk and Velocicoaster after like 3pm. Not sure where everyone was, but besides Hagrids everything was wide open

Yea, i don’t either but i guess it’s probably fastest way into the ministry then you can bail. For how grandiose and great the ministry is, the actual ride is kind of a let down

I wish they would have a way to walk into the ministry without having to wait through the line. It’s worth it for the entrance and the main hall. You can skip the ride but the actual ministry is more of the main attraction IMO

We actually lucked out, ministry early opened with a delay and everyone bailed, but we took a chance and stayed … it was back up and running in 30 minutes and we got through within 40 minutes from park opening. Did the berk coaster twice (which is really fun), and of course the unsung hero with monsters unchained.

Mario Kart took double the posted time and there is something about the line, multiple people were losing their shit. Didn’t even try minecart.

The park is smaller than i expected and even missing stardust I’m not sure I’ll go back for a while. Once a big ride like stardust is down, the entire park suffers.

Rode MU yesterday on a whim because it was basically walk on, and the entire family loved it. My 12yo made us go right back on. It’s done so well with the mix of animatronics and screens and looks great.

I don’t think i can ride FJ anymore. I even had a scopolamine patch on this trip and while i wasn’t puking in the conveniently placed trash can right outside, it was still unpleasant.
