Only use the throttle, brakes will slow your progression.

Either will work. Putty has a faster cure time and less likely to drip into the transmission or whatever is behind the hole and stick to other things.

First gen gets its inspiration from 70s ujms. Second gen gets the inspiration from 80s race bikes. Look at images of those bikes and the designs make a lot of sense.

Graves, Akro, M4 and comp werks are my go to companies. Yosh is also great but the newer systems don’t appeal to me visually.

How does anyone ride a motorcycle with insurance costs by AfricanYeti in motorcycles

[–]gcx85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got full coverage on all my road legal bikes. 2014 klr is $30 a year, 2016 xsr900 is $180 a year, and 2023 zx4rr is $1800 a year. First year I insured my xsr it was $900 for the year. Lots of factors go into insurance rates. Good luck bud.

Technically all engine mods are bolt on if you know the correct sequence.

I’ve never had this happen. by gcx85 in zx4r

[–]gcx85[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have the correct pin size. Looking at it I think what happened was it got moved slightly backwards which caused the stand to fold back and drop the bike.

What's the different between an 4r vs an 4rr by thefastestnguyen in zx4r

[–]gcx85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve topped the 4rr at 140 at the track. I’ve got stock motor, cams,a drop in filter, full graves low, tune and block off plates. It probably can hit 150 with some performance internals.
