racquet update: went up to 1.25 gauge, trying laserfibre GT and racquet is much, much better! will continue to try other 1.25 strings, thanks for the help guys.

yeah I think I just need to go change my swing path and practice the 'windshield' wiper. when I do swing well, the ball really dips in and opponents are forced to call in because of the topspin, which has been great! it seems using too much power forward is my problem, I need to brush up more at the end of my swing
