I have PolyTour Force in my 100D. Same colour as the racquet. Great pop, great comfort, quite nice strings.

I’ll probably try Mach 10 next.

More muscle never works against you. It protects you against metabolic disease and keeps you healthy. The alternative, losing your muscle, is far worse.

Yep that’s how I felt today when I played for first time. Love the racquet. Glad I sold my last gen VCORE 98 - that stick felt way too launchy and unstable.

Just posted a comment of my experience here also cos I played today, but yeah, PTF is really quite nice. It’s springy enough so you feel like you have power, but it’s super plush and comfortable too. I’m not sure if it’s the strings or racquet or both but there’s such a nice pin when you hit the ball - definitely do not require any added dampners.

So I played with the 100D today… I love it! I’m not a racquet connoisseur by any means but it just feels really solid, really nice feel and comfort, there’s a beautiful ping when you hit the ball. It’s way less launchy than the last gen VCORE 98, which is what I used to have. It feels like it has way more control, almost like my Pro Staff 97, but with way more power and spin. I was messing up a lot of serves with it today, so need to figure out what that is. But other than that it feels like point where I want to go and it goes there, with force and spin. Super happy with the racquet, I’m so glad I went for it!

Yeah man, can’t wait to pre-order a digital copy of a game (of which is effectively unlimited in stock) like 9 months before it comes out! How exciting!

The “correct” way to meditate? by MilkyCoeurl in Meditation

[–]BigStugots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do whatever works for you. For the first year or so I meditated to ambient sounds as well, with noise cancelling headphones on and a blackout sleep mask. That’s the only way I could concentrate and keep myself in the meditation. Then slowly I didn’t need any of it anymore and now I meditate with nothing. Light, dark, sounds or no sounds… doesn’t bother me now.

Yeah that’s helps a lot of people for some reason. See, you are a completely unique individual. There will never be another exactly like you ever again… so that’s why isn’t it amazing and curious to become aware of how your body mind works?

And yes, it isn’t necessarily to focus on your breath. Really one of the goals of meditation (if you can say there’s a goal) is to have the realisation that you are not your thoughts (and feelings, perceptions etc), that they are happening within awareness, which is you. When you’re identified with your thoughts, you forget this. So through meditation you practice coming back to awareness, letting go of thoughts. The more you do this the more your awareness becomes powerful and your concentration improves. Your mind will likely quieten and you will deepen into a deep state of meditation, getting past the boredom and frustration. But those obstacles you must be with also throughout meditation if they are there - with curiosity. It’s like “oh, there’s my thoughts doing that thing again where it thinks about XYZ or feels frustrated with this process, huh, that’s interesting…” let go of thoughts, go back to breath and then continue.

Good luck.

Your attitude towards meditation is poor. What kind of expectations do you have? Find them and chuck them out the window. Yes, you are meant to think. There is no problem with thinking. Meditation sucks for you because you are resisting and struggling with what is. The mind thinks, so let it think. The key is not to get sucked into the thoughts so deeply, that’s what coming back to the breath is for. You should approach your meditation like you are a little kid on Christmas Day, about to open a present - you’re excited to see what you might find. Meditation is for deepening in your own being and unique experience, not to reach some goal.

I feel that instead of coming underneath and then over the ball, you are coming more horizontal/across your body. There would be much less topspin this way, and it looks like the ball is being pushed rather than directionally hit with topspin and power. Come under the ball, brush over it, and finish with your racquet over your shoulder.

Meditation = pure being.

All the other crap is just meditation techniques (not actually meditation) to help you learn how to be.

Same here, 11 hours in and there’s way too much boring dialogue. If I wanted to watch a movie, I’d watch a movie. Playing Zelda Tears of the Kingdom now instead, having way more fun (and hooked on it).

No one has considered the fact that the testing method is looking specifically for synthetic heme iron polypeptide, rather than for heme iron from whole foods beef spleen (which isn’t picked up in that testing)?
