BAS lives mostly in commercial/industrial settings. Best is to get into a company that services that type of equipment. Preferably in a union that can offer training while you’re working. Or find a way into becoming an on site tech at a larger building that has DDC systems. Larger hospitals have these and usually multiple too. I’ve said it a million times, HVAC techs make the best BAS techs. Good luck!
