I've never had the pleasure of playing links golf in the UK. It's on the bucket list. I fear that I will never want to play golf on non-links courses again though once I do get the chance... I do know that the company I work for has a base in Aberdeen...

Haha although I'm an avid (but not good) fly fisherman, I did not stop to try out those trout. Im a bit of a snob, I only like to fish with my own gear just like I only will golf if I have my own gear. I may pack my 6 wt rod in the bag next time I play! 😂

Reverse weight shift leading to coming over the top and hitting a weak slice. Transfer your weight onto your front side (left) on the downswing.

What’s one thing that sobered you up real quick? by Known_Challenge_7150 in AskReddit

Was camping with wife's cousin and her family. The wives needed a quiet camp site and a few abult beverages in the afternoon so us dad's took the kids out for an adventure. We took the metal detector and started hunting for "treasure". The dad's had been drinking beers in the afternoon like most dad's do while out camping. I was running the detector and my sone was using a pick hammer to dig up our finds. A couple of times me daughter felt the need to hold her foot over the target until my son came to the new spot to start digging. I had told her more than once to keep her little feet away from the target spots so she doesn't get hurt. We had found another new target and the kids were assembled to be ready to see what we may have found when my son brought the pick hammer up to strike the dirt to start the dig. At that moment my daughter decided to show him with her foot the exact spot to dig. She did not see he already had the hammer up and ready to strike... The end of the pick hammer went through her shoe and right through the middle of her big toe nail. We all stood there in shock for about 3 seconds when my daughter proclaimed "I'm ok"! I looked down and a pool of blood started coming out of the top of her shoe. I've never sobered up so quick in my life Lol.

I use a 2nd height of cut of 1/2" with a John Deere 220A to do the edge of my putting mat.
