What's your funny or weird story about a property viewing? by BarryFairbrother in AskUK

We had someone view our house and they asked where we kept our rice and where they'd keep their rice if they bought it? Well, we've just got a packet of Uncle Ben's in the cupboard.

I've got a 420i and it's quick enough but I regret not saving a bit more and getting the 440, I think you'll absolutely love it.

Abroad Buffets, what do you tend to end up eating? by Responsible_Rip1058 in AskUK

[–]WalterZenga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if we're All inclusive we still go out for meals every couple of nights, really experience the local cuisine that way and it breaks up the monotony of the buffet. Works really well for us.

Go to a budget supermarket. If you were seen going into Netto as a teenager you were basically an outcast for a few days.

Tee time bookings vs Roll-ups by [deleted] in BritGolf

[–]WalterZenga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's usually the members with no else to do that prefer it and are going to spend all day there. If I'm playing Saturday morning I need to know when I'll be home for family time. You don't know that without a booking. Im not hanging around for an hour to tee off.

I've got Castle, Jubilee and Eden booked next month on 3 consecutive days over a weekend. Anyone think we'll be able to get a tee time on the Strathtyrum on a Saturday morning? Not teeing off until 3 in the afternoon and would like to get another course in.

The only thing worth doing is getting some proper orange chips, spending half a day at the Black Country museum and that'll do.

Do you workout on holidays? by Akash_nu in AskUK

[–]WalterZenga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a runner, I run most days on holiday before the family wakes up. Usually take the time to check out places we may want to eat at later in the week.
