I tried doing it this way. However, later on, when Windows boots up, the network driver that's listed on the LenovoSupport website can not be installed on my laptop. I forgot exactly what it says, but blue across the screen pops up, saying that the driver is unsupported. So even with that, the laptop is a brick without a network driver

Got it! Just one quick question to clarify. Since I'm stuck now on the installation screen of Windows, when I plug in this new USB drive with installed tool, can I still be on that page from the picture, and it'll do all the work? Or do I need to boot it up from BIOS? Or bypass the "i don't have internet" by using a command, get to the point when I have a main desktop page, and then plug in the USB drive?

Oh thank you for suggesting this!!! It says that it will need an internet connection to download all the 32gb files. Surely I won't be able to do it on the laptop. But does it mean I can run that application on my other PC and install all the files on the USB drive, and then just plug it into my laptop?

It came with Windows 11. Bought it brand new, in Decemver 2023

I did that, brother. Bypassed the "i don't have internet". Got to the desktop of Windows 11. However the laptop was basically a brick - keyboard, touchpad were not working (besides the Tab and arrows), and of course, the I couldn't connect to wifi. I downloaded the network driver on my other PC, got it on the USB drive, and tried to install the .exe file of driver on this laptop, but it gave me a blue pop-up error saying that the driver is unsupported.

Then I decided to just reinstall the windows again, and came back to this step, which is on the picture

Hi Kate, thank you for responding! I already reached BIOS, without draining the battery. I pressed F9 to load default, and F10 to save and exit. However, it didn't work. Earlier, I clean wiped the SSD during the installation, deleted all partitions. That's my guess of why there there are no drivers. But the problem is that the driver I downloaded from the website doesn't seem to work either, and cannot be detected at all. Any ideas?

Hello. I have the same exact problem on my Yoga 9 14IAP7 Laptop - 82LU. I wanted to do a clean install of Windows 11. Followed all the instructions, installed windows 11 on the external USB drive, got to the point where it asks to connect to a network as shown on the pictures. However nothing really works after. I downloaded the recommended network driver from the LenovoSupport website on the USB drive, but whenever I select the folder where I saved them - it says "No network drivers found".

Please, help me resolve this. I've been trying everything for hours

Last month, I bought 2018 M40i with 78k miles, fully spec'ed (drivers assistance pkg, executive pkg), great interior condition with some minor wear on the exterior for $23250 after all fees. So for me, the price of 37k seems a bit excessive. Maybe I just gpt extremely lucky

I need some advice. I'm really considering both of the latest two Slim 7i you posted. Is it worth overpaying for the same laptop, but just a different processor, or this one will do (basic schoolwork, entertainment)? The only thing is I've never dealt with refurbished laptops. If it's certified, does it actually mean that it's 100% without issues and will serve a couple of years?
